my initial surgery was May 1st but it did not come out how I wanted it so I went back for a revision after receiving a very helpful comments from a doctor who commented on my photos practically saved my eyes with the advice that he gave me; Dr. Steinsapir. I took his detailed information gave it to my surgeon and I went back for a revision and I have posted my revision photos. I am much happier. before my revision my eye would not close as much it would get very blurry and burn at night. Also, my left eyelid lowered and loss its crease after the initial surgery it was very strange and depressing, then I had the revision and my left eyelid raised again.

I'm glad you did the revision. You're left eyelid was droopy and your right one had a big crease. You look absolutely fabulous now though!

Thank God the other doctor 'spoke up' regarding your initial not so good surgery! The final outcome is terrific. So glad you had the guts to go back and say, "hey, I'm not happy with this..."

I know.. I agree.. because they were so ready to leave looking just like that and waiting months until i heal to see outcome before revisions..

the swelling has went down a little bit above the incision there is still swelling underneath this incision the fold has not come in yet but is showing signs that it will come in. My only concern about the fold actually coming in is prior to surgery I lack muscle in my eyelid so we will see I'm crossing my fingers otherwise the surgery will have been for no reason..

I'm following your progress. I would suggest a topical silicon gel to keep flattening the scar and tissue underneath. I just had double eyelid surgery on 4/27 and my doctor gave me "Silagen" 100% pure silicone gel. I still ordered the Dermatix Ultra Advanced Scar Cream from Amazon because I read some good reviews so I will use one mornings and the other at night. I'm going to share my story but I had aggressive bruising and I don't want a lot of weird comments, i'm also Ethnic.

you should still post your progress now people do not leave me any rude comments or anything, also people know that you get bruising so I'd like to see your progress as well that would be nice. I will also look at the website you sent and also I will get those gels that you mention thank you for sharing that
