I am so happy I decided to do this! I got a perfect result with no issues. I had some swelling and very slight bruising for a few days but not enough that I had to cover it with makeup to go to the store. I should have done this a long time ago. It brightened my whole face!
Choosing to have a facial plastic surgeon do this was a no brainer for me. When it comes to needles getting that close to my eyeballs, I would much rather have someone who pokes around in faces for a living holding that needle.
I should mention as well that I am not good with needles at all. I have passed out cold having blood drawn. Needles in my eyelids? That is the kind of thing I have nightmares about. This was really not bad at all. Other than a couple of tiny pokes I didn’t feel anything. It just feels like someone is running their finger lightly on your eyelid. The idea of it still gives me the heebie geebies, but actually having it done was a piece of cake.
Oh… and it was 2 syringes of Restylane (I had some serious eye caves) at $600 each and he used a cannula (which, from what I read, is the best way to have it done)
