Hello lovely ladies. I am 40 years old and have 4 children - all born within 3 years (one twin birth in there somewhere). Needless to say my poor tummy never had a chance at getting back to anything remotely resembling what it should be and now, 15 years later, I have finally plucked up the courage to sort my bits out.

I have had my consultation with my PS (who is a very quiet man) but has an excellent reputation and is one of the top surgeons where I live. I have had blood tests done (will list those later for those of you who are interested in that stuff) and also met with my anesthesiologist today. He has requested that I have an ECG done which I shall go and do tomorrow night - he then wants to see me again on Saturday.

I take medication for high blood pressure and also a medication for anxiety and depression. My anxiety shoots my blood pressure up (as happened this morning when I went to visit my anesthesiologist - it was a bit too close to the OR for my liking with way too much stainless steel :s) - so hope he gives me something to calm me down before he knocks me out.

Anyway, enough waffling. I shall be using this review to let of steam as I only have 8 (OMG) days left to go before I emerge skinny. Will also try and upload some pictures of my sagging parts as everyone else has been so brave to upload theirs.

Upload your saggy pix - they probably look like everyone else's saggy pix! ;) Besides, you'll want some good B&A pix to compare later... quite entertaining to say the least. Some people would rather never see and forget what they used to look like - I'm fascinated by the comparisons. I took TONS of before pix in various outfits from bikinis to dresses bcz I knew I would emerge totally transformed and I love seeing the "afters"!! It's such a change!! I had/have a "quiet" dr too... it's kinda cute in a way - he's so subtle and unassuming, yet so skilled and talented. I love my new boobs, how symmetrical and round they are, how I fill out all my clothes now in all the right places, how I spill crumbs on them and I can't see below them! hahaha... I love the placement of my TT scar and the smooth-curve shape, love the flat belly and no over-hang when I sit... It's just been such an amazing experience all around! Hope you enjoy the ride as well!! Welcome to the RS family! :)

Nerves and eating

Vicky997
2 days to go. Have been stuffing my face over the past two days which is strange for me as usually when I'm stressed I can't eat at all. I'm sure I'm putting on weight but tell myself my surgeon can suck it all out when he does my lipo. Not really the best attitude to take but I can't be dealing with more stress at the moment.

I'm lurching between being extremely excited to have a flat tummy again and anxious about being knocked out and the level of pain afterwards. Am trying to keep busy as this usually helps with my anxiety - being distracted gives you less time to dwell on things.

omg - so nervous for you! Good luck and enjoy these next 2 days! Go ahead - EAT! Might as well... Hard to eat PO so might as well enjoy food now! :) The level of pain probably won't be as bad as you imagine... You'll be fine. The pain/discomfort is only temporary but the physical change will last forever!
