Had read the reviews how this surgeon Kunachak with Thailand's messiah for rhinoplasty. I got sucked in and paid an extra-ordinary amount of money (even for a wealthy western country) for the rhinoplasty. I showed him what I wanted with pictures and he said he would give me what I wanted no problems. The procedure and immediate aftercare was very pleasant and painless as I stayed in the hotel adjoining. The recovery was actually quite a pleasant experience. The nose was swollen and red for about 6 months after. However I noticed it was crooked and pinched in too narrow making it look like an alien nose. It was also very pointed, again not what I had remotely asked for. My nose was actually very straight before the surgery. I then realized, after seeing his before & afters again, that most of his western patients seemed to end up with the same nose. About 6 months later and not being happy that it was crooked I politely emailed his clinic. I received no response, which was a stark contrast to their response when I originally inquired with them. I then waited some weeks and emailed again. Again no response. It was disappointing. Eventually I went to see him in Bangkok again and explained that it was crooked. His simply ignored my complaint. Two years later I realized that he had made my nose way too narrow, pointy and crooked. I could not justify spending over $10 500 Australian dollars for something I did not ask for. So I went to see him again expecting him to fix it up for free, apart from perhaps the anesthetic. I was very polite to him when I gave my reasoning. I nearly choked when he quoted me a further 190 000 Thai Baht ($7500 Australian dollars) to fix it up (his mistakes)! I didn't know what to do so I walked out resigned to the fact that the guy had ripped me off and taken advantage of me. I regret not going to another amazing surgeon in Bangkok who I had consulted previously and I have seen his amazing results. I have been in contact with him to fix my nose for half the price of Kunachuk. (Message me if you want his details). Also been in contact with Dr Kao in Taiwan who also seems to be an amazing surgeon who has quoted me much cheaper. As for Kunachuk, I will not deny that my nose does look better than it originally was but I would give it about a 6.5 out of 10 and it was worth about a quarter of the amount I paid. Don't be duped by his propaganda and testimonials, most westerners do not know about the really good rhinoplasty surgeons in Thailand who's marketing isn't aimed at westerners. Although I am sure that some people get amazing results with him, unfortunately I wasn't one of them. I just got sucked in by his marketing and flash clinic. Ps.
