You look great!!
Thank you!! I feel even better!
You look great and I will be very happy if I get similar results when I explant on Oct. 16th.
Thank you!! How are you preparing for your explant?
I have textured silicone that have been in me since 1989 under the muscle. I'm having capsules removed also and no lift. I am getting pretty nervous but ready to have real boobs again.
I understand the nerves completely! It's worth it, in my opinion. What do have prepared to help you with recovery?
My daughter will be staying with me for a couple days and I will have drains in. Stocked up on healthy foods and juices and probiotics to counter the antibiotics. Definitely worth it. Tired of feeling these things in my chest and looking forward to smaller boobs again.

I’m 100% happy with my decision to explant. I love the natural feel of my breasts. My scars healed very well also.
I am missing upper pole fullness and my breast pocket has widened so my breast tissue is more widely distributed across my chest, which creates an appearance of less volume.
Difficult to find bras that fit well without wires or push up. I don’t feel 100% confident in the shape of my breasts in clothing without a bit of “form” from a bra (currently wearing VS lightly lined wireless). I don’t fill out the top portion of the bra. And can’t seem to find a balconette cut (straight across) without padding or wires. My somewhat protruding chest bones (sternum and ribs) exaggerate this.
These are minor areas of acceptance for me to continue working on.
Overall I’m so much more confident in my body and love being able to wear the right size clothing rather than 1-2 sizes too big to “fit my boobs”.

I got implants cuz years back I lost too much weight due to job stress and my almost C cups fell to B- or less and stayed there for many years. My implants got me to a full C. Then menopause and weight gain put me into DD. My explant was over a year ago and I am so happy to be at approx a D cup now. Like you I was buying larger sizes for my boobs that were too big for my body. I'm glad to be natural again!!
Happy for you that you are happy with your size and natural body again! Hooray for clothing that fits our natural bodies! Take care

Having my implants removed was the best decision that I have made. I feel so much more natural and my quality of life has actually increased. I can wear clothing that feels comfortable and looks flattering I don’t have pain and heaviness in my chest like I used to. I feel so much more confident both physically and mentally. There are changes that I am still learning to except but I accept these changes as part of the process. I also feel stronger and am lifting light weights and doing yoga to gain more muscular strength. When I look in the mirror now I recognize my body (I didn’t with implants) and feel confident.

You look absolutely amazing!!!! I’m similar in size of body and my breasts. I was the same size before implants. Did your doctor say you had little breast tissue? Or a good amount? I’m just curious because you give me hope for my outcome.
Thank you! The surgeon commented that I had “some” breast tissue, which is of course a relative term. What helped me is understanding it was out of my control how much tissue I had left - I focused on feeling healthy and treating myself well. They’re very similar in size to pre-op, but have lost a little volume, especially the upper pole. Sending you love!
You look awesome & you can tell working out getting results; it sounds like your entire state of being is at peace both mentally & physically. Like you’ve come to accept it all & in fact, embrace it; that’s a beautiful thing! I’m amazed at the changes that continue to occur & the incredible amount of shrinking & tightening up the human body is capable of. I’m really encouraging women to wait on lifts & even fat transfer if they weren’t very big prior to implant because it’s pretty fascinating what transpires over time! Patience is a virtue:) Can I ask how that under arm/upper pole area pain & nipple sensitivity & general left breast healing has played out? And also how you progressed with working out accordingly? Thank you for continued updates & photos; it’s very much appreciated & a wonderful illustration of how amazing the human body really is at recovering! Esp when we really take care to eat right, exercise & listen to what our bodies are telling us. Continued good health to you!
Your words are truly inspiring to me and I feel grateful knowing what I’ve experienced can help another woman. Yes the body is truly amazing, and I agree with allowing your body to heal on its own before deciding on anything further. A full recovery is 1 year, as I’ve been told by my surgeon. And so much can change in that time! I’m thankful to my body for how it has responded. Positive self-talk, healthy eating, and accepting the journey have been key, as you mentioned. It is truly a lesson in acceptance on so many levels! The nerve pain is gone - I have some residual muscle tenderness on the outside under my arm and it feels a bit chunky like scar tissue. I’m due back for a post-op visit to check everything at the 1 year mark and will be asking about this. I’m back to yoga and lifting weights to build strength and I’m confident I can be as strong or stronger than I was before. Exercise feels amazing without implants. Sending you love! Thank you again for your positivity!
