Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
4370 Georgetown Square, Atlanta, Georgia
Overall rating

Dr Kolb is one of the most unprofessional plastic surgeons I have ever encountered. My experience was not good at all! I was actually grateful that she decided to cancel my surgery after I started asking too many questions. Or should I say, for questioning her methods and protocol. I went expecting a compassionate, caring doctor. Instead I was left to wait for FIVE HOURS in her dirty, dusty waiting room. When I finally got in the room to see her, she was rushed and seemed pre-occupied. After telling me that the "eye test indicates mold" and "ultrasound results indicate ruptured implants full of debris" she proceeded to "muscle test" me for everything under the sun. By muscle testing, I mean she pulled on my arm repeatedly while having me repeat after her a list of conditions, supplements, prescription drugs, dosing amounts, and procedures. WTF? Really? Then she proceeded to DIAGNOSE and PRESCRIBE both supplements (which she conveniently sells) and Rx drugs. I hit the brakes when my pharmacy called to let me know that ONE of the Rx's was $1000 copay. An anti-parasitic drug. Now, I didn't go to Dr Kolb to be treated for parasites. I went to her to have my implants removed. But when I emailed her to ask about this drug that I was not comfortable taking, her reply to me was that I am "risking cancer by not complying with the protocol" and then she canceled my surgery. Talk about unethical! Thankfully, I was able to find a COMPETENT surgeon who removed my implants for a much more reasonable price, and I am thrilled with my results. He confirmed during my surgery that NONE of the things Kolb diagnosed me with were true - no mold, no debris, no ruptured implants. Perfectly clear saline. And despite Kolb's threat to me that I would not get better without her help, my health is already drastically improving. Another thing that I should mention, I have received rude, abusive emails from this doctor after sharing my experience with her on another website. Who does that? I'm going to share my experience, and I have every right to do that. This may be the doctor for some people - if you are ok with her basically GUESSING what is wrong with you. Most reputable MDs will agree, muscle testing is not a reliable way to diagnose and it is a potentially dangerous practice to use this method to write prescriptions for pharmaceutical drugs. I also think it is a conflict of interest to muscle test from a list of supplements conveniently provided by her. I could go on, but I want to say that one of the things that bothers me the most about this doctor is the fact that she is pushing "breast implant illness" as a means to manipulate women who are very vulnerable, yet she herself has implants and is currently still placing implants. If she is telling EVERYONE that they are deathly ill and she's the ONLY DOCTOR in the world who can get them well, it seems somewhat disingenuous that she still has implants and is still implanting women. How do these things add up? Well, perhaps only in her bank account ...
