Day 5 Tuesday

First day without grease. Now I'm using an SPF moisturizer. And I tried just a tad of my tinted sunblock on top with mineral powder. Kinda looks like I put a lot of blush on my cheaks and eyelids! Haha.. not too bad though.

End of day 4- Monday night (Friday procedure)

Almost all the swelling and dead skin is gone. These pics are right after washing my face. I'm still greasing since the skin feels tight and a little sore...but I went to work today! One co-worker asked me if I had been crying, but nobody else commented. I did get a fews stares. I'm not sure if it's the swelling or if it's the results, but right now all my undereye crepiness is gone!! Woohoo! Theres a tiny dark laser spot above my eyebrow that I'm just now noticing. I've never greased it, so it hasn't healed. This makes me super glad I greased the rest of it!

48 hours after C02 laser eye lift

The itching has started! I just took my first dose of benadryl. There's less swelling between the eyes as there was this morning, but a bit more swelling under the eyes. The dark stuff is starting to slough off when I wash my face now and I'm seeing a lot more bright pink skin show through. I was using a generic brand aquaphor, and just got the real stuff. I didn't realize there was missing ingredients in the generic brand, so Im not sure if that'll make a difference or not. The real stuff does seem to have a much thicker and smoother texture, so I think it'll stay on better. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to return to work with one more full day of recovery and some thick foundation! I'm feeling a sense of relief, because I can see and feel the healing and my fears of somehow being permanently scarred or swollen, are slowly fading away. *FEWF*
