I am finally committing to acne scar treatments. I have had fillers, fractional resurfacing, and subscision. The subscision had a tremendous impact. I originally had went to plastic surgeon who did subscision without numbing my face and without any positive results. The next plastic surgeon I went to was Dr. Windle at Partington Plastic Suregry. He is amazing and the results were impressive. He explained that the scar tissue pulls the skin down causing the depression. So by breaking up the scar tissue, the scar can "float" or raise up. After the subscision results he suggested needling for a permanent solution to some of the lesser scars and then we can look at fillers. I am now trying needling and have had one of six treatments. I'll keep this updated as I move through the process.
