My surgery went great! Had my surgery yesterday and I'm sore everywhere! My doctor told me originally that I would have a small vertical scar but he said he didn't have to do that. ???? He told me that he was able to go above his markings and take more skin. ???????? I also had lipo on my hips and back. He took 2 liters (not sure how much that works out to pounds) but he said I will have a great result with that. I wish I could take a look but I'm wrapped up and can't see. Two problems I am having....1. My lipo pain is horrible and 2. My hands, feet, face are really tight feel m the swelling. Anyone else experience that? I'll be getting a shower later so I'll get some pictures.

Welcome to the flatside. I had my surgery on Wednesday and today I am the most sore so far. I had my follow up appt yesterday so being up and about in think was a bit much. I haven't had the swelling you are mentioning but drink lots of water. Congrats.

Congratulations, I will be 4 weeks post opp on Monday and am starting to have stamina. Rest rest rest. The recovery is critical to results. Take pain meds religiously for the first couple of days that will help with pain ftom lipo. Also drink water, keep your binder/spandex on 24/7, eat low salt foods, and walk little by little throughout day.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Thank you for the kind words! I'm feeling better today but still taking it easy. I have eased off my pain meds today and I feel fine. I'm so ready to actually see the difference.

2 MORE DAYS!!!

Where do I begin??? I have been waiting for this surgery for so long now and it's only 2 days away. I scheduled my surgery a little over two months ago and my PS recommended loosing some weight. I started out at 200 lbs and had a goal to be at 180 lbs at surgery. Well I am at 181 lbs today!!! I feel like this surgery is going to make me look amazing! I picked up my prescriptions yesterday and found a long maxi dress that looks comfortable to wear after surgery. Today is my last day at work before surgery because I have some things I need to take care of beforehand. (like the speeding ticket I got on New Years Eve) I've been thinking a lot lately about my post surgery sleeping arrangements and it has me worried. I own a recliner but it doesn't lock into place (made that way) and you have to put pressure on the back of it to keep it reclined. I feel like it would be hard and painful to try to deal with it so I'm thinking about renting one from a rent to own store. But idk...I feel like I'm way overthinking it!!! This sounds crazy but I am looking forward to my recovery because that means I can relax and catch up on my soaps (General Hospital), lol. I will be taking more pictures in the next day and post them. Please say a little prayer for me!!!!
