I had one Sciton BBL forever young. I wanted to get rid of dark spots from sun damage. The procedure hurt a lot. like hot burns as opposed to rubber band snaps that they said it would feel like.I had a lot of swelling and brown spots still on my face two months later. I have now developed a twitch in my cheek and my jaw area. My face has lost volume. I suddenly have dark bags under my eyes and prominent jowls on my chin from my face sagging. I have lost tons of volume in my face and the twitching is insane! Has anyone else had volume loss in their face? anyone else have twitching? I mentioned all of this to the dermatologist and of course he said this is not possible as the BBL only heats up the outer layer of skin---thats a flat out lie!!!

Following this as I have a very thin face and BBL was recommended to me, even though my main problem is wrinkles. I hope you get good answers to your problem. Sorry this happened to you. Were you numbed? Maybe the setting was too high?
Has it gotten better over time?
How are you now almost a year later? I had this done one time and have lost volume on the left side of my face. No twitching but yes loss in volume and dark now under eyes.
has the volume returned to you? how longed it been since your procedure ? has the skin gotten better over time ?
I experienced fat loss/volume loss also but no twitching.
I don’t understand how it can create fat or volume loss. You are probably just aging. It does not heat to an extreme to be able to melt fat. Fat has to be heated 10 degrees above normal body temperature for atleast 8 mins.
