Hello my RS ladies!! I am so late writing my review as I stumbled on this site 3 months post-op after my extended tummy tuck with muscle repair, no lipo. Just turned 5 months post-op on Sept. 11 2014.
Im getting a breast reduction next year, my boobs are too big too!!You ladies are such an inspiration to me and I love all your stories. I am a 55 year old mother with 2 adult children and now an empty nester!! (Hooray!) My double stomachs have been with me for way too long and since my children are out of college and on their own....I figured it was time for be to take care of myself.
I don't have my pre-op pictures as I never wanted to see my double stomachs again and never took pictures. As soon as I get them from my PS I will post them so you can see them. Thank you Sexy4Life for giving me instructions on how to write my review on the site, I'm not tech savvy.....you actually inspired me!! Okay ladies.... thank you for posting your journeys....you all are gorgeous!!

Kh216, congratulations on creating your profile and thank you for sharing your pictures. You look great . I love your bb and definition in our stomach. Have you been doing any other exercises besides running? Your body doesn't look like it belongs to a 55 yr old. Hot mamma.

Good Morning Sexy4Life, Thank you for the inspiration to write my review so late in my journey. Like you said, it's never too late to start one. Thank you so much for the compliment about my abs. Coming from a person with a body like yours is flattering. By the way, are you 50 yet? If you are, you have definitely brought your sexy back! Back to my abs, to be honest, have only been doing cardio that's all. Compliments to the skill of my PS's hands and expertise. He removed all the fat around that area and the definition appeared. When I get my intermittent swelling it disappears and when it goes down it comes back. I get more swelling in my upper abs then my lower. I should've got lipo in my waist but my walking is helping it come down.I'm going to start some plank exercises to strengthen my core, found some simple quick exercises on YouTube. I was reading your update again last night, you are funny, but informative! Your body looks incredible for 6 weeks post-op! If I'm ever in Michigan, I'm going to look you up, you seem like you would be fun to hang out with!!! I noticed you are using scar silicone cream now. I bought some ScarAway silicone sheets and ScarAway silicone scar gel I only used ONE time. I didn't have the patience to keep using it and the scar does not bother me because I don't have that fabulous body (like you.. I'm jealous) and I don't wear 2 piece bathing suits anyway. If I decide to, my scar is so low it wouldn't be seen anyway. I can mail them to you, if you want them. Just send me a private message and I'll mail them to you. My PS said silicone works very well and I read some great reviews about ScarAway gel and sheets. Please let me know what your PS says about your BB, it looks fine to me but it's important it looks fine to you.....I know it will be fine....you look fabulous!

I'll turn 50 in November, but that doesn't me because I know that I don't look my age. No need for you to be jealous, you got it going on. The fifty club is the new 30 anyway. I'm using a tape/ silicone strip called Mepitac. It's better than the scar away strips because it stays on during showers so I change it every Monday. We would be nice to meet. I met another RS sister for lunch this week and we talked like we were old friends. I've never been to NJ. I'm from Houston by way of Louisiana but moved to Michigan a yr ago from Zurich, Switzerland. Big Change!! Don't forget to post your pre pictures once you get them. I'm sure they are not that bad.

Hi Candi16, Thank you for the nice compliment. What a smart decision to shop around first. You have plenty of time. I would like to see how you look post op.The support of your husband is a plus too. Congrats on an upcoming 10 years also. You are going to look hot with a flat tummy because you have a nice contoured waist already!

Sexy4Life.....that's right girl, stay on me!!! I decided to change it to a 8 or 9 month update. No changes really. My lower abdomen is flat and I like that and my belly button. I wish I got lipo on my waist and upper abdomen, it's not as flat as I want it to be but it's okay, my PS took off as much as he could without removing my organs. Have to keep working out. Those squats are great, my thighs are getting tight...front and back. Still walking 3.25 miles 3-4 Days weekly.I left the 30 day squat challenge and handed the baton to my super sexy Olympic triathlon RS sister's!! Looking forward to seeing everyone's results!!

My PS didn't suggest lipo on my upper abdomen but I wish that I would have gotten it too. I'm still learning and would do things differently if I had to do it all over again. I would have gotten aggressive lipo to create sculptured abs. Don't give up on the squats. I'm not a gym guru either but squats are something that I can do anywhere and anytime. You don't have to do the challenge, just do maybe 30-50 a day and stick with that. Okay, I will give you a few more months then I will be looking for new photos.

Sexy4Life......thanks for the encouragement . I'm definitely going to keep the squats up, I can feel the benefits and 50 a day is something I can keep up with. What workout are you doing with your arms or is that natural.....they look awesome! After I get my boobs done next year, I'm going to get lipo on my waist and upper abdomen, like you said it's a learning process. I still have some more surgery to go but I'm going to keep my workout routine going. Plastic surgery gives me a boost but I know that diet and exercise is the key to keeping in shape for life.

Searching For a Surgeon

User Avatar
Kh216
Hello RealSelf Community,
I am on a search for a board certified plastic surgeon for a BBL with fat transfer.I need a butt and have never been happy with the one I have. You can view my flat booty on my profile. It needs help. Has anyone had a BBL with fat transfer done by Pat Pazmino MD,FACS ? I have been doing alot of research on him and I like what I am reading. I would appreciate some advice and experiences from anyone who had this procedure as well as recommendations for a surgeon.

Are you considering going to Florida to have it done?

Yep......I wasn't looking to travel but I want a good surgeon......I've been sifting and researching a lot. It is time consuming but worth it. I like that Dr. In Miami.....he has video consults so I'm going to explore that next. I'm actually getting excited about searching. If you come across a dr. Who's work looks really good let me know.
