Depressed
$6,300
I'm feeling a bit depressed. Saw immediate results but seems like I'm bigger now then I was at 19 days post op. I'm still itchy. My waist still swollen, my belly swollen or I hope it's swollen based on what it looks like. My goal for dong this was to allow my cloths to fit better. Including tucking a shirt for the first time since my second child was born 10 years ago but none of that is possible. Still wearing loose fitting shirts to cover a not as big but still big belly. :-(

Before and 19 days post
No waist still, so improvement but much more to go. Patience is a virtue. Jogged 3 miles today. Hips on fire but other than that, I'm ok

Still quite a difference, and swelling can last 3 months. My doctor said I could use corsets/waist cinchers over my garments. Maybe ask your doctor if you can give that a try?

Yeah they mentioned it but was going to wait at least a month so I don't get permanent Indentions also waiting for the pain to subside in my hips and sides but yes I do plan to wear my waist trainer hopefully by end of this month. Thank you

There is a HUGE difference in your belly! I have recently decided on lipo and a BBL but am probably a year out so wanted to do some research. I am shaped very similar to you except that I am more of a dramatic inverted triangle. I have struggled with body images all my life, but it has been so much worse since my 3rd child was born. A lot of the swelling in my belly never went down and I have this disgusting apron. I can't even wear sweat pants and a baggy t-shirt without feeling like a fat cow! Thank you for sharing your journey, it's inspiring! Keep your chin up. :)

Oh thanks so much for the encouraging words. I waited 5 years before I was able to move forward with this costly lipo so I really want it to be successful. Wasted over $3k on coolsculpting that did nothing! Still regretting that lose so I can't take another failure. I do see improvement don't get me wrong but still can't wear clothes I use to be able to wear before kid 2 so it's a little depressing but it's barely a month I do have time for more improvement. My PS doesn't want to see me unless I have a problem until I'm 3 months post

I think you look great and it will get even better as the days go by.
My appointment is scheduled next month. I've been doing a lot of research on how I can reduce my swelling when I get my surgery. So far, I've read that rebounding (jumping on a mini-trampoline) for 30 minutes a day works wonders on your lymphatic system and will help you detox. Also ACV (apple cider vinegar) helps with fat elimination and detox. I plan to do both. Look them up and let me know what you think?

Mmh I have a mini trampoline.! I will try that and see if it helps. I also have ACV but I struggled taking it when I bought it for whatever health reason I bought it for. Do you know how I should take it? Will definitely try both. Thanks for being so helpful

For the apple cider vinegar, take 2 tablespoons in an 8oz glass of water. I like to take mine at night.
Be sure to rinse your mouth or brush your teeth afterwards.

Update, 2wks 4 days trying to stay positive
Well it's been a little rough. Wondering why I don't have the results I thought I would have. Yes I see results but just not what I expected. I know i know, can take up to 3 plus months to get to 80% of final results as I've read. I also know everyone heals at they own pace. Anyway the itch comes and goes. Benadryl helps at night anyway. I can tie my shoes now. Still have noticeably lower ab swelling and hardness. Notice more unevenness too. Hips sore and hard to lay on sides still. I have been able to do light 1 mile jogs every few days. And I feel my compression garment, which I wear at least 18 hours a day is loose so just ordered another stage 2 garmet in size small. I was wearing binder at night but do to swelling I am taking a night or two off from wearing binder over garment. I have done some massaging of the treated areas but haven't gone to any professional massage places for this. Also I don't have another follow up appointment with PS until 3 months post op. Will update with pictures later
