Ha, I had those same emotions! It's only natural to feel like that. But once I talked to my dr before surgery, he just calmed me and I k ew I was doing the right thing! I cannot wait to be able to take this compression garment off and the drain, so I can finally see what I look like! I'm liking what I see now, my stomachs isn't laying on my lap, that's a plus! We are going to look great- don't worry!!

Well I'm leaving it on 24/7 until my appt on the 5 th. I actually feel good with it on, I feel secure. I all ask them at the office how long to leave it on.

I am hoping he can calm my nerves that morning too. I felt better for a few minutes after my pre op appointment but then found new things to worry about. I keep telling myself it be hard to look worse and just trust him it will be okay. I just hope he does an awesome job on me. Lol

Absolutely it's normal! I still felt guilty that I was selfish for spending that kind of money on myself when it could of been see towards our new home. But I got a quick look at myself today ... and I can honestly say that guilty feeling. Was feeling s gone !! I look waYyyy ether than I did prior. And it can only get better in time once the swelling goes down! I'm just very impatient ..I way to get up and clean, do housework,paint. lol but I'll wait! The way my body looks like now Is perfect to me! I've come a long way , and deserve it!! So do you!!

That's what we're all here for, to bring each other up!! I'm going to post some photos of what I looked like before my weight loss surgery... that way if I feel down in the dumps, I'm gonna get on here look through the pictures just so I can remind myself!!

You will be!! You're gonna look fabulous!! Stay positive that helps with the healing process. It is hard to do but it will help. I was nervous too but after the first week each day that went by got better and better.

I can't wait to do swimsuits after my surgery. I was a little bit bummed that summer will be mostly over when I get my surgery, but I have next year to look forward to. I hope your surgery goes really well and you rock your new body on your next vacation.
