Review of Dentzz Mumbai by an Aussie

We visited Dentzz Dental, at Kemps Corner 2 years ago. Researched quite a bit online and they introduced me to some of their patients in Melbourne. I was quite apprehensive initially; not just about visiting India but the fact I was about to undergo a surgery in my mouth. My wife was calm throughout and very reassuring all the time, till we reached there.I don’t think I would have taken the plunge if it weren’t for her. The city of mumbai is very different from anything we had ever seen before. I wasn’t really sure whether I felt it was good or bad but it was definitely different. Over the next few days this cultural difference is what grew on to us in a very profound way. During our first visit, I immediately felt at ease when I met Dr Ash. I found her extremely knowledgeable and yet friendly in a way that I didn’t feel the typical apprehension of a dentist around me. That’s when I learnt that she had actually spent a bit of time in Melbourne. I came prepared for a full mouth implant plan as was recommended to me by email. But when they actually saw me and did a few tests and scans, they felt they could save a few teeth and recommended a plan which involved lesser implants than what I came for. I must admit, that although I was calmer now that before, I was still dreading the surgery bit. That day I met many other people mainly Aussies and Brits, and they tried their best to calm me down. But in the end all was good. The only pain I felt were the injections. Step by step, my treatment was completed over the next 10 days. Quite surprisingly, we made many new friends and shared some amazing moments. The dentists actually called for a pizza for us the day after my new teeth were fixed.

Cons: Sometimes the waiting can get a bit lengthy. We had to wait for over 20 minutes on 2 occasions. Some people may take a day or so to get used to the city.

Pros: The technology they used throughout was unlike anything I have ever seen. Cost 12000 aud. The dentists were extremely knowledgeable and proficient. My new teeth look and feel amazing and they have lasted so far. And yea. they are all very lovely people.
