So it’s been 5 months and on my last review, I mentioned concerns about skin puckering. Atlylast appointment, Dr. P. assured me the skin would smooth out once the scar softened. I admit I was skeptical. But photos don’t lie. Although it’s not completely resolved, there has been vast improvement! I think Dr. Peterson did a fantastic job and although I may address this wrinkling if I’m not totally satisfied in a few months, I do not think it had anything to do with his skill, he is so good. I think just that my skin is pretty compromised and it couldn’t be helped.

Overall, the healing is going great. The lipo contoured me nicely and the dog ears were fixed. There is definitely a vast improvement. Sadly, I think the skin is just too stretched to have it as an easy fix. I think more skin needs removal. I’m okay with having to do lore revision but I want it to be the best it can. I’m seeing my PS tomorrow so hopefully he will agree and we can schedule some time to do it. I’ll keep you posted

I had revision surgery after my tummy tuck. I also needed more lipo and slight dog ear on left hand side was removed. I also had my whole scar revised as it was quite stretched and as I had had a couple of problems with the dissolvable stitched some of the scarring was ugly. He removed a fair bit of skin again which lifted my lady parts up as I felt it was sagging. What a massive improvement it has made I am 100% happy with my results and I am sure you will be happy with yours. My surgeon also did not charge or revision surgery even though it was a year later. When I read some of the reviews on this site I horrified at how many people have to pay again. It’s disgusting, a true surgeon who takes pride in his work will not charge. You and I were very fortunate to have excellent surgeons. You look fab and I am sure you will be fully satisfied with your end result.

Wow Alexis! You look fantastic! Your results are beautiful! Thank you for your comments, it helps to hear about other women’s outcomes who’ve had similar issues. I’m already seeing an improvement on my tummy and my skin is smoothing out. The scar tissue on my vertical scar and part of my long scar adhered to something in there because every time I bent over, the scar wouldn’t move and so all the skin around picked to the scar. That’s all gone now! Also, my PS was so nice and really cared that I got a good result. He joked that he didn’t want to see me walking around unhappy and mumbling about crappy results. He wants to make sure I’d be happy in a bikini. I feel very fortunate to have such a great surgeon. I too am horrified of some of the stories I’ve read on here and the results that were botched and not addressed. It really saddens me that a woman would trust someone so deep as to allow them to alter their body and that surgeon breaks that trust and makes things worse without any consequence. Most women can’t afford a revision or have to wait years to save up again.
How's everything now? Do you still have that bit of puckering?
