I was referred to Dr. Laurence Weider by a close, respected friend. I had already been to meet with several doctors from all over the metroplex before choosing Dr.Weider's office to do my proceedures. I immediately felt as ease even before arriving for my initial consultation. Both Kim and Cecilia are great! They were super helpful even over the phone, answering all of my questions and explaining the process and the costs. Cecilia's expertise and experience really shows through. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. I was impressed after meeting Dr. Weider as well! I like that he has his own OR right in his office, which, by the way, is also connected to the main hospital. Perfect! I also get my own private nurse overnight while in recovery. So far, he has made 100% sure that I am healthy enough for the surgery, ordering mammogram, blood work, ekg, etc. He has experience working with gastric bypass patients, and I am confident I'm in good hands.
