Hi everybody. I'm so glad this site is here and you all add your experiences. They have been so helpful to me. I will have my lift in Lithuania 13th June and I'm anxious and excited. I had a tummy tuck 10 years ago too here in Ireland.

My boobs only began to grow when I was 17/18 and I was a 36C quite quickly. I never had what you would call perky boobs but had nice cleavage and was happy enough.

Both my pregnancies caused me to weigh in at 15.5stone from 11stone and my boobs went to 40DD twice then back to 36C. The skin just never went back. I eventually got my weight to stabilise over the past few years but every time I lose the weight my boobs look awful, just skin packets.

I had the tummy tuck for the very same reason, bad skin elasticity and I am delighted I did that.

I can't wait to be able to wear clothes without the crinkling effect on my breasts and the swinging when I bend over with them. The rest of my body is exactly how I want it so now is the time to get my boobs to toe the line.

Great experience from start to finish. All anxieties relating to travelling for surgery were quickly diminished when I arrived at the Nordesthetics clinic. From my collection at the airport to the aftercare, I couldn't have asked for better. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Thanks for sharing your story with this community. Do you know what type of lift and implants you'll be getting yet?

User Avatar

Hi. I won't be having implants. I will discuss the type of lift when I meet me when when I arrive in Lithuania. I have done quite a bit of research so will go prepared with questions and ideas as to the results I would like.

Hi, welcome to the community! This is indeed a great place to read stories and gather some good resources! It's def. helped me in my decision to get a lift next week also (June 9th). I share in your excitement and anxiousness, and can't wait to hear about the rest of your journey :)

Thank you MaxineSD, good to hear you too are using the site for the same reason as me. I'm very excited. Let's keep each other up to date with developments. I have received my preparation emails this week with regards to what I should and should not eat beforehand or pack for the trip.
June 2, 2016
Oh wow, that's really good that they do that for you! I've been doing all that research myself LOL But that's ok, because I enjoy doing it, it's for me afterall! :P Yes, I'll def. keep you up to date, make sure you click the button at the top to "Follow" me :p

I know how you feel! I HATE the crinkling effect and the swinging too... ughh makes me feel like I am 90 ha
User Avatar
June 3, 2016
Isn't it just awful!! They are like pendulums. When I am a little heavier the crinkling isn't so bad but it is terrible when I look down and see what looks like shrivelled chicken skin :( Also when the nipple disappears into the areola in a tight fitting bra! So looking forward to Sunday week to get this procedure moving :)
June 3, 2016
I have major stretchmarks there, so when I bend over, bra or no bra, it looks sooo bad, like I can never show off cleavage to anyone who's not my husband, unless I'm in a night club lol :s

With less than a week to go till my surgery, I had a quick peek at the girls and it reinforced why I am having a breast lift. They look so exhausted and deflated.

I ordered 3 front closing bra's online last Friday. I will begin packing this Friday. Can't wait ????

Well done that is massive weight loss!! Yes but unfortunately losing the weight gives other problems.

Just wondering I'm from Dublin aswel and getting a lift in a few weeks where did you order the closing front bras from I can't find them.
User Avatar

Hi, I ordered front closing bras and in the end didn't wear them. I also ordered front zipping soft sport bras that I wear every night and bought them on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/272223088187?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=571029390686&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Also, seeing as you are from Dublin, I found a wonderful bra with no underwire that has been so comfortable and brilliant on my recovery and also quite pretty. I got them in Dunnes Stores, they have them in nude, black and white: http://www.dunnesstores.com/non-wired-moulded-bra/lingerie/dunnesstores/fcp-product/451248?colour=nude
August 12, 2016
Oh perfect thanks so much I will have a look at them and order some of them, which bra did you wear during the day I'm so nervous don't no what to be buying
User Avatar

I was given a recovery bra at the clinic and only really wore it for that week. I found the ones on Ebay really, really comfy and wore them for the first month most of the time. They are quite colourful and that was handy during the summer :) There are other types of bras to be bought and I bought some but never wore them really, they were too grannyish.

Are you getting your procedure in Ireland?
August 12, 2016
Ah perfect I'm getting giving a bra to but was thinkin when I have to wash that I will need somethin else but I'll buy them sport bras and wear them same as you. How did u find recovering I'm not gettin implants either is it very sore after
User Avatar

Recovery isn't too bad. Raising your arms up is difficult for a few weeks. Walking fast can be sore for a couple weeks because of bouncing. Driving for long distances puts pressure on your pecs.

Just mind yourself and don't rush the healing. Buy some 3m tape for after your stitches are removed. They are great for flattening scars.

Don't even try to wear underwire for 6 weeks.

Recovery can make you typed so try to eat well. All in all it was easy enough once you don't push to hard to recover.

Those bras are great at night. Take out the inserts.
August 12, 2016
Thanks so much were you in much pain or did the pain killers help you.

I didn't think you were allowed drive for a few weeks and were u ok to get up out of bed and go round the house or do you be bed bound for days..

Ye I will Defo get them bras for the night time least it will be more comfy.. Is it just Normal tape out of a chemist
August 13, 2016
Can you please post a pic of how your breast look now???
User Avatar
August 13, 2016
I travelled home from Lithuania on my own with a suitcase. Mobility is ok. I didn't need painkillers really but took a couple when I was restless for sleep from time to time.

The tape can be bought in any chemist. The 3m surgical tape is best. It stays on better. You could google it for info.

Not supposed to drive but I was driving short distances. I suppose each persons ability is different during recovery.

D Day!

Well today is the day. I'm sitting in my hotel room having had my final meal before my op. I'm being collected in 40 minutes (8:00am) and my op is scheduled for 13:00. Yesterday was a very busy and eventful day, but suffice it to say it showed me how the Universe will conspire to make things happen if they are meant to.

I only slept for 3 hours, got here at 24:30hrs and had to get up at 06:00 for food. I'm not yet nervous or anxious. Really just want this done at this stage. My family and friends think I'm nuts coming here from Ireland alone to have this done but I think it is worth it to save 4.5k!! Also, my sister thinks I really should consider implants because my boobs are quite small now that I have lost weight but I'm quite happy with them being slightly reduced after.

I will update later hopefully with some prep photos.
