I decided to try an at-home whitening kit when I was talking with a friend that I was visiting in the US prior to starting my orthodontics treatment (I'm Canadian). She works as a dental hygienist and she recommended the Crest White-Strips Professional Kit because she had used it in the past and had seen great results. I purchased it halfway through my trip from her dental office and went on my friends recommendation to only use the strips once per day rather than the recommended twice per day to reduce teeth sensitivity through treatment. Also, a bonus that since I was only using 1/2 the recommended dose, I have enough stips left-over for me to use the remainder of the white-strips when I get my braces off in about 18 months.
You leave the strips on for 30 minutes per day. One day I did try to use the strips twice but my teeth definitely got too sensitive so I do recommend using it only once per day.
Based on some other reviews I saw on Real Self, next time I try the strips I'll probably use Sensodyne prior to starting my next round to reduce the chance of having any sensitivity.

Thanks for reading my review :) I'm about 3 months in and I notice that my teeth could use a freshen up but I don't think they're as dull as they were to start...but now I have braces so I will be waiting until my braces are off to do the remaining 1/2 of my package of the Crest WhiteStrips. I have continued to use my Sonicare toothbrush to make sure I don't have any surface stains settling in but I can't use any whitening products until my braces are removed. Did u think the way u use to white ur teeth is better than laiser .. Or other kind of whitining

No, I didn't use the 3D White Crest. It was Crest WhiteStrips sold from a professional dentist so I believe it was a stronger strength than what you could find off the shelf. I'm ont sure if its better than laser or other kinds of whitening since I haven't used other products but I was very pleased with my progress and for the cost, I think its worth it to try before spending a few hundred dollars.

This Home Teeth Whitening Kit is what i use, love it! makes my teeth v white.
Thank you! I've never tried white-strips before because I've always had whitening trays. But your results are really great! What's the difference between the regular white strips and the pro kit? And do the strips wrap all the way round your teeth, so, like, they whiten the backs as well? And do you find that it whitens well between your teeth, too?
Very helpful. Interested in trying it, even though I have trays. I find that it's very difficult to whiten the very tops of my teeth, closest to the gums. Do the strips hurt your gums if you put it all the way up there?
