I absolutely LOVE my results and the care I received from Dr. Rodgers and everyone in his office. It is something that I had wanted to do for myself for a long time and am glad that I chose Dr. Rodgers to perform my surgery! He made me feel completely at ease with his professionalism and I recommend him with the upmost confidence.

The recovery time was longer than anticipated, but I returned to work 7 days after my surgery with some swelling and bruising. One month after surgery I am completely healed.

You look great! Which procedure did the doctor use, transcutaneous or transconjunctival? I am thinking about getting a lower blepharoplasty myself and am very nervous!
Transcutaneous with the sutures running along my lower lash line and the results are amazing. Please don't be nervous! It's a breeze and there is almost zero pain following the procedure. I am 8 weeks post op and have had zero pain or discomfort. The difference it made in my appearance is phenomenal! To quote Nike...Just DO it!

Your eyelids look amazing, congrats!

Thanks!!!!
Did you have fat injections to fill out the hollows? I have an upper lid surgery done but want one for my lower eyelids too. Did you experience a lot of eye drynessduring recovery, you look great!
Yes! He did two small incisions next to my nose and filled in a triangle shaped area under each eye. I had not even considered the benefit of doing that, but it really complimented the look and I am so glad he suggested it. I am still having some eye dryness but can make it better with eye drops. He said it could take up to six months for that to resolve so I am being patient! Good luck!!!
Thanks!!
One more thing- did you have fat injections in the cheek too? You look so youthful in your whole face. Were you really swollen? I have heard that the doctor needs to fill much more than needed because 50 pct of the fat will dissapear. This means that one looks very round in the beginning. Was that so in your case too? Greetings from Copenhagen!
The fat injection was only a triangle shaped area below my eyes with no additional fill in the cheek area. He did overfill and I was quite swollen, but the results once I healed made it look very good. Very feminine and rested looking.
