Day 3 - seeing the light at the end of the tunnel... maybe

Ohhh Day 3. Better than Day 2, Praise the Lord. Today I showered, and snapped a pic while I had the compression garment and gauze off. Not too shabby!! Putting the garment back on required a few tears and a lot of help. Incision burns today and my drain wont stay deflated properly - I think I might have pulled it loose in the shower. When I try to squeeze and plug it, there is a weird squeaking sound and it inflates again?? No idea. Anyone else 3 days ppst Mommy Makeover?? Also--- weird puckering under breasts... is that normal?? Soooo mamy questions lol

Day 2 is testing my pain limits

Little update - Day 2 - Ow. Everything hurts. The 20 minute car ride to the doctors office today was excruciating. Trying to sleep through it and hope for a better day tomorrow.

My four wonderful kids left me flattened, detached...

My four wonderful kids left me flattened, detached abs and stretch marks. Decided that my insecurities, while ultimately silly, were nonetheless affecting my confidence and Go-get-itness. ???? So 33 is it. Had surgery yesterday and was surprised to find the pain manageable. The swelling in one breast really hurts, and the incision site is sore, but I was prepared for the worst so I'm handling it ok. I have an exceptional team at Swanson Center that I have my one day follow up with today. One of the most reassuring things is that they check for blood clots before, immediately following, and the day after surgery - that was a big fear of mine.

Okay so advice! I can not say ENOUGH to buy a power recliner! You cant sleep flat for weeks and if you roll to your side you'll be swollen and may tear stitches. Even better, rent or buy one that lifts you to standing, cause let me tell you it sucks to stand up. 2. Spend $20 on Amazon to buy an elevated toilet seat. Trust me. 3. Move everything you may need down to eye level so you'll call for help less. 4. Rent a walker. Your back will be sore by day 1 from walking hunched and it helps steady you. Make a giant smoothie the day of and drink it for the first couple days- it'll calm your stomach and help you heal. This is what I made - its yummy amd filling: http://www.thedoctorwillfeedyounow.com/surgical-recovery-smoothie/

Thats all for now!

Just wonderful people. This practice truly feels like concierge services, I couldn't be happier. Staff is amazing from the nurses to the receptionists, and the doctor is so kind and answers all your questions. He's an expert in his field. Anesthesiologist was great and totally put me at ease before surgery, explaining every detail. I had my surgery yesterday, and am very sore but nothing that isn't manageable if you stay ahead of your pain med schedule. I can't speak to my results just yet but will post the progress since there weren't many client pictures here! He treats each surgery and patient with the utmost care and consideration. I wouldnt go to anyone else. You're safe in his skillful hands. Plus does perfect Juvedeem to give you pouty lips, btw! I jokingly call it my gateway treatment.
