Permanent Eyeliner Gone Wrong!!!

I have been wanting and researching permanent eyeliner for many many years now. Seemed to see the best reviews when people went to a plastic surgeons office and not a salon or someplace in a strip mall. So...... after not being able to find anyone semi local that a friend had used before. I just choose one with good online reviews and based in a plastic surgeons office.

Pro:
Used numbing cream and it didn't hurt much at all. Not, falling asleep comfortable. But very tolerable.
Took only a couple days and redness and swelling was gone.
Cons:
The picture speaks for itself. Didn't take well. Not very even. And the line is so thin, I always need eyeliner drawn on, even with this procedure done.

The tech had around 15 years experienced. Completed advanced trainings. All her online reviews were good. Yet, I hate the outcome. They are willing to "touch up" in lash line only. No place else.

Very disappointed and sorry I wasted my money.

They said my results were perfectly normal.
Said if I waited 3 months, THEN she would do a "touch up" at that time, in the lash line ONLY.
Said if they did it any sooner, it would cause scar tissue.
The line even after a touch up, would be thin like the partial line is now.
Said if they did it any sooner, it would cause scar tissue.
The line even after a touch up, would be thin like the partial line is now.
Said if I wanted it to look like eyeliner and make it thicker, that's an incorrect way of doing it and refuses to do so. This was said to me 11 days AFTER when I was expressing my concerns and disappointment.
Said... My results are what she has done for 18 years and is the only correct way.
That's how she had hers done. And if she wants an "eyeliner look", she draws it on and said is what I need to do too ..... or go to somebody else to achieve that look. So not sure why I paid her.
Even after expressing my disappointment, she was not apologetic nor would do anything to help make me happy.

Hello, I m not sure if this was explained to you poorly or if your translation of the event is lacking some details. If she was doing a Lash enhancement or eyeliner, it will almost ALWAYS Be done in 2 sessions. She is correct about not doing touchups too soon for the health of the skin. Thickness of the liner SHOULD HAVE been discussed at length before starting. I myself do not administer thick liner looks ( I specialize in more soft/natural looks and believe time is not friend to tattooed winged or wide liner) clients know and agree to this before appointment. My motto is you want Tuesday morning makeup, not Friday night. I hope you get what you want after touchup. DO GO for touchup.

I do not understand why the paying client cannot get what they ask for! I mean I understand and respect the professional to explain what should be done and why and what is the likely consequence of doing it the requested way but after all of that is followed and the client still wants it their way then I just don't understand at all why you would refuse. I had the same trouble for years with hairdressers. Their professional opinion with my hair due to face shape, hair texture, etc., was to wear my hair this way or that but I was never happy and always in search of someone who would listen to me. Same with this! I know it's a big difference being that this is permanent but if you wear your make up a certain way and your spending this kind of money AND its permanent you really should have it the way you like it rather than what is the common guidelines. Sometimes a person just doesn't look good in a certain outfit but they don't care what others think if it makes them feel good...just saying. I got my eyeliner done at Samira's permanent makeup in Greensboro and she said at my age I should wear it "this" way and I said I wanted it "this" way and she explained why in her professional opinion. I decided to go with her and am glad I did! I also got my lips done she told me the color I should go with but I didn't want that color but I didn't it anyway, fortunately when I do my touch up I will go closer to the shade I wanted but my point is she still did what I ask her to do! If I don't like it then it's on me not her! I love you Samira! P.s. if its something that will hurt you like scar tissue or something that ethically shouldn't be done she just won't do it even if it cost her the business! That's makes me super confident!!!

Being a PMU artist for many years, everyone is trained differently. Desired look should be covered in initial visit. Sad to say , it's not always the case. I do many corrections in my area because of that. If you ever in the Omaha area, give me a shout. Brows 24/7 402-650-0777

Hi. I just want to add that I agree with the other lady’s remark about Tuesday make up and not Friday night out make up. Fashions change so much. One day it’s thick heavy make up like in the 60’s then it’s natural, and so on. But that said, I would’nt be happy as it is now. I would pursue a refund (if your confidence in the tattoo lady has gone) or def go for the top up. It looks like she only tatoo’d half the eye. If you go for the top up and there is still only half the eye tatoed I would deffinately want that refund. The eyeliner needs to go further round your eye. Good luck Hun.
