51 Yr Old.....had Pre-Op Appt. Yesterday...2 Weeks to Go!! Kansas City, MO

10 weeks ago, I wasn't sure about surgery. Boy, am I glad that I did it! It took me a bit for the wounds to heal but they finally did. I have the go ahead from PS to do what I like. Back to bowling and the gym and feeling normal. I haven't been bra shopping yet but I will. I need to work on the rest of the body now. My advice, take it easy, eat plenty of protein and drink a lot of water. time will heal them and you will be happy you did it! I now have to massage the scars,,but they are looking great. will try to post a pic. Happy Healing all!

7 weeks post-op. I have just 2 minimal wounds to heal. Not sleeping on side yet. All n all, very pleased with the results. I have been wearing a cami at night. How sweet it is not to be afraid to go braless!! No bowling or hitting the gym hard yet...just a few more weeks. Got my EOB's from insurance company..thank you insurance! Hope everyone is healing well! We can and we did it!

Had post op visit today. Healing slowly but PS said it all looks good. Just keep doing what i am doing. Separations are closing. Had to have a stitch cut off. I showed him where the tape i was using pulled my skin off. Of course...i quit using it after that. I'm not to report back for 5 weeks. Dr Bene said by then, I will be loving my new look. And i am doing well since he took so much off. I love it already. I have the OK to hit the treadmill,,,,,slowly.,, and work on getting n better shape. As far as the emotions,,yes they r running amuck. I'm dealing the pre menopause too...yes still dealing with her! All n all, GLAD I DID IT AND WOULD RECOMMEND TO ALL HAPPY HEALING ALL MY SMALLER BBREASTED FRIENDS
