I'm on week 7 right now - I think the initial "purge" is starting to subside (I pray!). Did you experience a major breakout in the beginning. I'm told to not give up but it's very discouraging looking in the mirror. I use .05% every 3 nights (bumping up to every 2 nights soon I think. )
Yes I did! It was very painful but after two weeks or so it was much better. Keep using it! It will work!
I have acne. I started using retin a cream and it was getting better initially then I started getting red scars and flaky patches of skin. I use sastid soap too. What am I doing wrong ?:(

When I started retin-a I was so insecure and had tried everything. This was the last stop before accutane which I really did not want to take. My skin started off very inflamed and painful but started clearing up about 2 months into using the product. My skin tolerated the product well so in the beginning I probably used it every 3 nights but quickly switched to every night. My skin would have minor peeling and flaking but overall it wasn't too noticeable. I'm so glad I found this product and didn't give up early on when I did not notice results.

Did you go through a doctor to get your prescription or buy it from an online pharmacy? I'm 43 and continue to have occasional breakouts which drives me crazy and was thinking about using this. Did you use the Retin A gel or cream or generic product? Thanks for sharing!!!
I buy it online I use the cream 0.5% works well
So glad it's working for you. I use it nightly and my teenage son puts it on his face occasionally which keeps acne away. What brand do you use?
