3 week post op update

WORTH IT$4,000
So today is my 3 weeks Post op mark and I'm seeing some visual changes. The major swelling has decreased in my nose itself and it looks more normal to me. The inside of my nostrils however are still very tender and swollen inside, they are dry and irritated. By I'm happy to see myself looking more normal per say. Time will tell ;). The greatest thing so far is I'm NOT snoring anymore !!!!!!!

You look great! A little Vaseline on a cotton swab might help inside your nostrils or a little bacitracin ointment.
Thanks, I used that stuff like crazy. It was my only savior in the healing period! ! My doctor said I had the cleanest nose he'd ever seen lol
I had the same procedure 2 weeks after you. My experience matches your very closely....except I still snore and my sinuses have been congested and never nearly as open they were the day the splints were removed.
I work in ENT Surgery and we use polysporin on cotton tips up the nose helps with healing as well as the dryness and your nose looks phenomenal!! yay

Tomorrow is 2 weeks Post op

I feel like today was a turn around for the better for me. I put makeup on, did my hair and felt pretty for the 1st time in 2 weeks. This has been a hard 2 weeks and I'm looking forward to everyday day improving for the better.

Hi, I didn't see your thread until today. Congratulations on overcoming your fears and taking a major step to feeling better. Both surgeries on my nose were completed by ENT Drs as well. It took almost a full year for complete healing and swelling to go down both times. Are you having a splint/ night guard made to help with the tmj? Also, if you continue snore and to wake with headaches, see a sleep neurologist about sleep apnea. You look beautiful!
Thanks for your comment, I actually haven't been waking up with headaches and as of right now my husband says I'm not really snoring which is amazing !!!!!! Tomorrow will be the real test for me, I go back to work !!!!! So I'll see if anyone notices my subtle changes or not.

Everyday improves from the last. I'm seeing changes for the better daily. I'm still very swollen inside of my nose and my nostrils feel inflammed. I'm going to try and take some profile pics tomorrow; )
