5 Weeks Post-Op
I'm now five weeks post op and doing well. My incisions have healed and my scars are now red and tender. I've developed slightly raised keloids (which I expected to happen) and will get recommendations from my doctor next week on how best to minimize them. My breasts at times are still tender and sensitive but not quite as hard and tight. I have noticed that I tire more quickly than before and need to sleep a little more. I've been walking for exercise until I'm cleared to do more vigorous exercise. I can't wait to start a serious exercise program to diminish the belly fat. Overall, my progress has been good. I feel blessed to have not experienced any setbacks or other ailments. I look at my new breast and I'm so thankful I finally had this done. Best decision ever.

First Post-Op Visit
I had my first post-op visit with my PS on July 13th. She removed the drains and said everything seems to be healing well. She told me she removed 2KG (7-8 lbs) of breast tissue! No wonder I was in such pain....all of which has now vanished. My PS has cleared me to begin exercising (walking but no high impact cardio for at least 6 more weeks). I have feeling in both nipples and the swelling is definitely better. I no longer need pain medicine (not even Tylenol). Hope my recovery continues going well.
