WORTH IT
I am so sorry that it has taken me this long to post an update; I am quilty of living!
It has been 8 months since my facelift, necklift and lip lift. Although ideally I would like more off the lip lift, I am very happy with the new improved me. I will probably consider a few tweaks for this or that (laser under the eyes) in the near future but for now I'm enjoying the results I have. I have about 90% of the feeling back on the sides of my face, my lip lift scar is not very noticeable and can be covered completely with light foundation but I usually don't wear much makeup unless going out. I do have a couple of small b-b sized bumps on one side of my neck - possibly internal stitches? Will ask my dr. on upcoming visit.

8 mo. post op.

7 mo. post op. Although still happy with the improvement I do feel the jowls have dropped and the lip lift dropped maybe 1-2 mm. I still have a long philtrum but this is so much better than the 22mm initially. Considering a corner lip lip now (or juvederm) and maybe even the nose bridge - as I stated earlier I have a retracted nose tip from basal cell cancer flap 10 yrs ago. All in all I am happy and content as I don't dwell on any of this, however, if small steps can be taken to improve balance along the way why not. At first I was so reluctant to show pics but I do feel sharing this might help someone else along the way in their decision making processes. I will continue to see Dr. M for any of my concerns as he and his office have been very professional and honest with input.

I can commiserate with you on feeling that the lip lift does drop. My philtrum was very long too, and after my LL it was perfect. But, now looking at it...I, too, think it dropped. Oh well, it is what it is! You look beautiful now and before as well.
Any new photos you’d like to share of your beautiful face?? Have a lovely weekend my girlfriend.

Comparison of before and after facelift, necklift and lip lift

So, just to give another view here is a comparison before and soon after, not smiling. Soft and natural. Very, very happy with the improvement in skin laxity, distance b/t nose and upper lip better, both upper and lower lips plumper with the dermal graft (was not painful at all by the way). Overall more roundness without as much hollowness.

great change, u must be so thrilled cuz it is subtle but amazing. enjoy!
Thank you!
I’m very impressed with the taut looking neck. Your ps sounds like a highly respected doctor. He is certainly a guru of facelifts.
Thank you! I am going back for a follow up later in June - my jowls have dropped a little so that is disappointing and I want to discuss either juvederm or corner lip lift. Although my philtrum is still looong..around 17 mm.... it was 22mm initially and he took 4-5 mm off. He is conservative and I was scared mindless I would end up with a bunny look (at 63, not my idea of sexiness, lol) so I told him I could live with less rather than risking more and not being happy. He agreed. I have a long face so achieving balance takes baby steps of improvement it seems. I had a nose flap 10 yrs ago from skin cancer - emotionally tramatic but thank God they were able to do as well as they did (another dr. here in my hometown) My nose tip retracted with healing and ended up shorter than I was born with but I'm ok with it. I would like to talk with Dr. M about reducing the upper bridge though "for more balance".
I['ll see if I can post a new pic -of today.
