WORTH IT
it's been 5 months since doc and his team worked on my chin to make it beautiful and lovely and it is totally beautiful and lovely. and just as importantly, all interactions leading up to Operation Day were understanding, patient, appropriately empathetic without cooing me or not being real about things, until I was assured that I was getting a good idea of everything involved in my decision. I would find questions to ask and ask them, then think of more and ask them too, I felt comfortable being honest about my concerns without fear or offending anyone, because I mean it's not like I have any medical knowledge or surgery knowledge. Anyway, I love it, I was hella scared but I really trusted them you know? I just approached it as straightforwardly as possible but obviously there is some emotion involved and that's okay. Very weird thing, this process, but they make it very unweird. 10/10 very cool and not weird. I could sit down and really search for the words to describe how grateful I am to doctor M and his talents and interpersonal intelligence and his team's confidence and awareness, all super cool, but I'm just writing this review from the hip and hopefully it conveys equal feelings of happiness, relief, trust, and gratefulness that I came to Dr. M and his team for this procedure. I still look like me. I don't constantly think about how to hide from people what I was so insecure about. That's all I wanted, was to just move on from something that bothered me for a very long time no matter how hard I tried to get over it. Anyway, this was a totally huge deal for me, thought about it forever, and I did it, and I'm so happy.

Hi there! I love your results it looks great! I've been wanting this same surgery for years. I'm considering going to the same PS as I live in Florida. Just curious, how much was it? Also, how much time do you think I would have to take off work?

i believe it was 5,000 plus maybe 400 for the hotel. seemed like a lot going into it, but now with these results I'm like yeah that's nothin. probably one to two weeks off work? maybe it depends where you work though! i was good to go 4 days after but my face looked alarming what with the bandages on, and all the swelling it hid underneath, so i took almost 2 weeks until i felt more comfortable with my appearance considering work with my clients is mostly face to face and with young women and children so I definitely didn't want to think of freaking any of them out. I was surprised how little downtime there was, how quick I got through it even though it was a full-on surgery right in my face, no small fries there. I was surely expecting to be laid out much longer. If you wanna see full pics cause it's hard to get a good idea from little cropped pics lemme know and I'll send em to you : )

Did he remove bone or skin
August 29, 2016
oh i was still swollen at 2 months, and after that it started getting better. The numb parts of my chin gradually got less and less, now there's only a tiny part that's still numb : ) The surgery was done for me with an incision from the inside of my mouth, that might make a difference, if our surgeries had differences in the details. Def. let your doctor know if you're concerned : ) I was worried around month two that the swelling was starting to act up again after going down a bit, and unsure if there might be an infection or not so I went on antibiotics just to be safe.

no skin just bone
August 28, 2016
Hi. Do you have before pics and how much of the bone did he remove?
August 28, 2016
those pics up there are both before and after--"before" pics have a caption that says "before" and after pics have a caption that say after. they aren't all in order I thought I could go back after postin and clean up the post but I can't! 25% of the bone was removed, including horizontal protruding out too far as well as vertical. if you would like I could message you full headshots if you'd like to get a better idea since I know the little cropped pics are hard to judge and see what's goin on.

Um can you send the head shots because I can't see the difference...I'm really trying to see if this surgery is worth it but all the before and after pictures of most people seem to look the same..
