I started researching a couple of months ago when my husband suggested I just 'go for it'! I wanted a BA 20 years ago. We had our first son very young, so I never had 'full' boobs. Raising the kids we just didn't have the money and I was fine with that. I just resigned to the fact that I got what I got and accepted it many years ago. My husband did as well. Now that they're grown and we have an opportunity, he said go for it, so that's what I did! Researched and found my doc (I wanted a woman, just my personal preference). The BEST thing is that she had her own BA, so she knows exactly where I am coming from as a woman. I am driving 100 miles because of the limited options in my local area. When I went in for my consult and I told her that I was ready, did my research and had decided on her prior to even going and drove 100 miles. She and worked in my 'fitting session' and pictures so I didn't have to make an extra trip for that. I was able to get all of my paperwork done and she had 1 spot that had opened for this week (consult was last week)!!! So Thursday 10/30 it is!! So super excited and hubby as well. I am currently a 34B (almost) and an looking for C-D we work out a lot and are very active so I don't want to be too big. She is thinking 330-380 range and uses sizers in the OR, so I am sure they will look great!! Going with Mentor, moderate profile, round, textured with dual plane placement.

My doc insists on patients using surgical bra(s). I am really seeing the benefits of it; the great support and swelling is kept to a minimum. loving my new look although I find it difficult being patient for complete healing. Feeling pretty good, but have overdone it a few days and paid for it later with more swelling and pain at night.

Wow you look great. I wore surgical bra during the day and then at night I have gone to a more comfy cam bra with the strap. The support during the day is great. I jumpedal the banext wagon and bought the coobie bra and it is so ooh comfy
