One year later...
I totally forgot about this lipo review until I started making my breast surgery review. So here's updates on my ankles. One year ago I got ankle lipo to fix my problem with fat cankles. I have big hands and feet and big bones, but my ankles were also just thick. So I went to a clinic specializing in leg treatments and got lipo done on my ankles.
I had no issues and my legs healed well. The problem with ankles is they tend to collect fluid. Swelling lasts much longer for ankles than any other part. So here’s my verdict one year later.
Are my ankles thinner? Yes, I think so. I didn’t get the slim and delicate ankles of my dreams, but there was an improvement and the pain and the cost was low enough that I’m satisfied with it.
Also, I have recently had to clean up my diet to prepare for another surgery, no drinking, less salt and spicy food. I looked at my ankles and they looked quite good! So diet truly does make an impact. When I’m eating out a lot and drinking, they swell. Which is what the doctors tell us anyways.
I would consider getting lipo in other areas. Maybe lipo on my tummy and thighs with fat transfer to face when I’m about 35????
Anyways take a look at the photos and decide if you can notice a difference?

10 Weeks Post-Op
Forgot to add updates, here's me shopping for shoes two and a half months after the ankle lipo. At this time there's no bruising but still sometimes swollen. You're supposed to be careful with what you eat, especially salt.
Day 7
More bruising and still quite numb.
Provider Review
Dr. Lee Jae Sung
Dr. Lee and Dr. Rho were great. Dr. Rho spent a lot of time with me and even answered questions over the phone. I was very satisfied with this clinic, I feel the price is great and I get massages and oxygen therapy every few days.
