Journey with CoolTone -Abdomen and Buttocks

Due to the Coronavirus my treatment series was cancelled until the DermaTouch RN opens back up. So until then I wait......patiently and stay on track with my diet and trying to work out at home. I have limited weights -mainly hand weights and can run/walk in the neighborhood.

I am writing this to share my CoolTone journey with the Realself community so that others can make informed decisions and achieve the best results possible. 

I am presently working with a nutritionist on maintaining a healthy diet with one that is low in fats and carbohydrates. They worked with many people in the fitness industry and have helped me bring my Body Fat % from 35% to 25% in just a few weeks (measured by calipers). I have a little more to go- aiming for 19-15% Body Fat. With that being said, I want you to know I'm what you call a "skinny" fat- at 35% BF I was weighing 110 lbs at 5'5". Crazy right?! When I reached 25% BF I was 103 lbs. 

Along with my healthy lifestyle meal changes, I also returned to the gym and started working out 2-3 times a week. I'm supposed to be a good candidate for CoolTone from what they tell me. I had been considering the EmSculpt procedure, which has a great deal of data to support its claims. CoolTone and EmSculpt claim the use of different technology, but the end result of both is the same-strengthen and increase the underlying muscle. CoolTone, in its literature, claims is more powerful than EmSculpt but the results will tell. 

I selected the CoolTone over EmSculpt for 2 reasons 1. They were offering a great deal on 2 areas of treatment and 2. CoolTone is of the successful CoolSculpting family and made by the Allergen-Brilliant Distinctions program who manufactures breast implants, Botox, Juvederm, etc. 

The treatment will start with 4 treatments each 30 mins long (2 treatments a week). I hope to post photos as I go through treatment.
