3 Months after Miradry

Its been 3 months since I had the procedure and some sweating has returned. Not nearly as bad as before but its not completely gone. I haven't been using deodorant so I am hoping that will help. If not, I am able to go in for another round for about $950. Will see how the deodorant does first. However, the odor and hair are both still gone, so at least I have that going for me :)

2 Weeks after

I'm still not 100% back to normal. There are small bumps under the skin, but you can't see them, I can only feel them, which she had told me about. If you were to look at them, they look completely normal. My arms do hurt when I do certain things like grab something from a tall shelf. BUT I have not sweat once! I even went for a 6 mile run yesterday and didn't sweat through my shirt (see picture as proof!). I could not be more happy with the results.

I've had hyperhidrosis for as long as I can...

I've had hyperhidrosis for as long as I can remember, ruining countless shirts and always being self conscious of what I was wearing. After trying on my wedding dress and already getting a bit of sweat on it, I thought of no better time to finally fix this annoying problem.

I did my research and found that miraDry had the best results for the money. I am happy to report I chose well. However, the procedure was not a walk in the park. First they have to numb your underarm area and I got about 47 shots. Good thing is, they use a very small needle and your arm is pretty much numb after half of the shots. I will warn you to be careful if you have bad blood pressure like I do, make sure you are constantly squeezing something since your arm is elevated. I lost all feeling in my right arm, it was totally limp. After about an hour and half, feeling did come back. As for the actual procedure, I felt nothing.

Following the procedure was a bit hard as well. They say you can go back to work that day but I strongly suggest you take the day off since you have to be icing constantly or else you will get extremely swollen. I was pretty sore for the first few days. I am three days out as I write this and I am still sore when I extent my arms or lift something heavy, but for the most part I'm good. I even did a light workout today and had NO SWEAT. So all in all I am very happy with miraDry and recommend it to anyone who has underarm sweat.
