From the instant I met Dr. Rios in person, I knew...
From the instant I met Dr. Rios in person, I knew that he was the surgeon I wanted to work with. Dr. Rios has a confidence about him & I took comfort knowing I was working with a Dr. that was comfortable with himself and knew exactly what he was doing. During my 1st consultation we went thru all of the typical questions as well as things to expect before & after surgery. During my 2nd consultation I was able to try on the sizers to try to get a better idea of what I might be looking for. I was very indecisive at this stage and Dr. Rios was extremely patient. I even asked a couple of the staff members for their opinions :). In the end I went with Dr. Rios' suggestion and am so happy I did (I was considering going slightly smaller and so thankful I didn't do that).
Day of surgery, Dr. Rios checked in on me, did the final checking/measuring etc. and asked if I had any questions. I don't even remember going into the operating room, just woke up a bit groggy and quite curious as to what my new look was...I went home & took my nap as prescribed. When I woke up from my nap, I did feel quite a bit of pressure as everyone mentions (like someone sitting on your chest) but was never in any real "pain". Dr. Rios called to check in on me and make sure everything was going ok. I went out to dinner that evening with my husband and was driving 2 days later. Dr. Rios' operation technique is amazing! He told me numerous times that I would not be in any pain but having been on the forums and reading about girls taking narcotics and having to deal with drains and compression bras I didn't believe it until I experienced it for myself. I had Absolutely "NO PAIN" & didn't need anything more than over the counter Ibuprofen/Tylenol for about a week, No drains, No narcotics, No uncomfortable compression bras.
It's been about 2 months now and I really couldn't be happier with my results! I am so glad that I found Dr. Rios and only wish I had gone thru this process much sooner. It is amazing what this can do for your self esteem & confidence.
