33 Years Old, 3 Kids

"I am 33 years old and a mother of 3 (15,10, and 5). I received my quote back in December which was for 5500 lipo w/bbl ( 12 areas of lipo, fat transfer, 2 massages, and a faja) but I didn’t actually pay my deposit until the end of January. After I paid my deposit I was told the price went up to 6000. I really wasn’t that upset I was more like dang but whatever. I set my surgery date for 04/11/2018. Not only that they also through the price of the fat saver machine in $525. Let me also add the staff at Jolie surgery center are super helpful and nice! Whenever I call in with a question and my coordinator isn’t available she calls me back within an hour. After booking my surgery date i begin to check flights (I’m from Texas) and I begin to look for places to stay because I didn’t want to stay in a recovery house. I booked my flight and I found an apartment about 15 mins from Jolie which was around 650 for 7 days. I set my days to be off but couldn’t get my FMLA approved because he doesn’t fill those papers out. I booked my nurse (nurse Jospeh) which is such a sweetie pie! So, anyway moving on I was super excited and nervous all at the same time. Soooo, I received a call on yesterday from one of the coordinators and was told I would have reschedule my surgery because the facility will be under construction. Not Jolie but the surgery center where doctor Hasan preforms his procedures. When I tell y’all I almost had a panic attack like seriously I did! I was like it’s almost 2 weeks before my surgery my flight is already booked and the place I rented is as well! I’m like no no no this can’t be happening. So I asked what other options do I have? Will I be compensated? Now remind you I have made a lot of arrangements to prepare myself for this day. So she responded yes they have a few options and no will not be able to compensate. I could not believe this was happening at that moment here it is if I change my flight I will be more out of Pocket and if I cancel the reservations for the apartment I will lose some of my money. My options were to either choose another surgent in the center (that I have not researched) that will be available that day or set my appointment for 04/27/18. I absolutely will not set that date if I’m not going to be compensated for anything. So I asked how long do I have to decide. She stated til tomorrow which is today. I said ma’am it has to be another option it’s going to be expensive changing my flights. So then she put me on hold cAme back to the line and was like will 04/13/2018 work? I was like let me look at some things and I will have an answer for you tomorrow. I also, asked when would I be released if I cAme in that day and was told Tuesday or Wednesday. So today comes and I get a call I gohead and lock in the new date 04/13/18. I asked if I could possibly get my original quotes price due to their mishaps and she stated she will see but she doesn’t think they will change it. I still haven’t heard anything back. I’m still super exited and ready to get it over with. I’m still a little upset because I still have to keep the place I rented for those days and figure out what I’m going to do about getting home on the 04/17/2018."

I am so excited and nerves all at the same time!!! So, on Wednesday I found out that the clinic went ahead and gave me a credit so to the schedule change... I was ecstatic!!!! My balance is not “0”, I’ve done my labs, and I’ve arranged for another flight back home on Tuesday. I can’t wait, I’m super excited!!!! The wait is almost over and the date will be here before you know it. I will still be leaving on 04/10 only bc I can’t change my flight and I don’t want to lose my money I already paid. My actual surgery date is 04/13.
