Well my surgery is tomorrow! I am super nervous but also so excited. I have been reading through everyone's reviews and so I thought I would go ahead and start a diary too! I will try to keep updates of my recovery. I went in for my initial appointment with my ENT because of my sinus infections and headaches and found out I had a deviated septum and enlarged turbinates and we decided that surgery would be the best route to alleviate these issues. I have always wanted a nose job so my ENT referred me to Dr. Gonyon with whom he often performs procedures with so that I could get them both done at the same time. So I went in for my consultation with Dr. G about a week later and discussed all of the things I didn't like about my nose ( asymmetrical, bony ridges near top, and unrefined tip) and I decided to schedule my surgery almost immediately!

Well I had my surgery on Thursday at 7am. They said everything went really well. That day I pretty much slept all day and I felt ok but yesterday and today have been pretty awful! My eyes are so incredibly swollen and I have so much pressure in my face! I heard that after the third day it usually gets better so I'm hoping for that! I took a few pics and boy do I look god awful but I'll go ahead and post them anyways!

Yeah I can already see a big difference and I still have the cast on!! I'll def post pics as soon as the cast comes off! My bruising is quite a bit better this morning, I'm thinking tomorrow my eyes won't be swollen anymore at all.

Yes I can also tell, even with the cast on, that it is going to be gorgeous@. Can't wait to see it! Congrats.

Our noses are/were kinda similar so I am excited to see your results! Hope your swelling goes down asap!

Well overall I am finally feeling so much better! I still have some congestion and a strange tingly feeling and I also get these weird dizzy spells at times, but the worst is definitely over!

Looks good so far! My situation is very similar to yours. I'm booked for my rhino, deviated septum, and turbinates August 20th. Look forward to watching your journey! Take care.
