WORTH IT$7,500
After lots of research and consultations, I have set my mind and date for tummy tuck surgery with Dr. Patricia Yugueros. I was looking for experience and safety, but most importantly, I needed a true connection with the surgeon. The consultation was pleasant. The office is clean, relaxed and I didn't wait at all. Dr. Yugueros was so sweet, attentive and confident. I thought I was going to get negative looks because I'm not at my average/ideal weight but she perfectly understood that some people don't have the bodies to fit to their normal BMI. I was happy and I booked that same day. So $7500 for a tummy tuck with liposuction to the flanks and muscle repair at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. All hospital fees, surgeon fees, garment, massages included.

Pre-op

Went to my pre-op appointment this past Friday and it's now official because it's all paid for! My first stop was at the the surgery lab in the hospital (Emory Johns Creek) Everything is pretty modern. You check in and they give you a pager. I waited about 10 minutes and was called into the office to make a payment on my hospital fees which was about $1600 after that I was taken to the anesthesiologist office to make my payment for the anesthesia fee which was $750. After that I was taken to see one of the hospital nurses (Barbara such a sweetheart) she then proceeded to give me instructions for the day of surgery and asked a whole bunch of medical history questions and completed my lab work. Blood, urine and a swab from my nose and I was on my way to the next stop which was Dr.Yugueros office upstairs. All this with a toddler! I checked into the surgeons office and was able to meet Nurse Wanda. She's the bomb. Excuse my 90's slang. She's just so informative and supportive. Answered all my questions and sent me home ready and anxious to come back and chop this belly off already. I was given my prescription for medications used post op. I was given Wanda's cell and also Dr. Yugueros cell in case I had a concern. As I checked out I scheduled my lymphatic massages and made my last payment. $3800. So in total I paid about $7300 for the whole procedure. Not too bad! I was able to use care credit to finance the surgeon fees but had to pay cash for the hospital and anesthesia fees.

I lost about 5lbs. Since the consultation. I've been eating a little healthier. Less meats and more plant based foods. I haven't really had the motivation to work out at all. I am trying to stay active with cardio but don't even look at the weights. :(
Good deal, keep us up to date along the way. I would like to know how everything goes for you.
