I've been wanting a breast reduction for such a long time. First opinion did not work out and I got really down about it and wondered if I should pursue a 2nd opinion. I don't give up easily so I researched other plastic surgeons. Found one 5 minutes from my house and scheduled an appt. Doctor was extremely professional and positive and after explaining my medical concerns and the medication I take, she said no problem. I did a double take. Say that again! She explained how she does this all the time and will take extra care. I'm beyond excited, anxious, and nervous. I did all the pictures/paperwork to submit to my ins co. and it was approved. Pre-op is in 2 days and my surgery date is next Friday, 9/19 bright and early. It's been helpful reading the reviews of others who have already been thru it.

My pre-op appt. is today. Yippee!!! Lab work at the hospital and then meet with the PS. I have my little notepad with all of my questions for the PS and the photo of exactly how I want the 'girls' to look. My wonderful husband is meeting me there. Grateful for his support.

Pre-op went well. Labs, paperwork, lots of questions, instructions. Met with the PS. All went very well. I'm looking forward to no longer suffering from neck, back and shoulder pain. I hope the shoulder grooves disappear. The insurance co. dictates how much tissue has to be removed so I'm having 700+ grams removed from each side. Not sure what size I'll end up but excited about the end results!

Just had mine yesterday....went really smooth. Pain is very manageable. I know it's hard not to obsess there are pictures of before and afters strewn all over my house...lol. my eleven year old daughters just roll there eyes and giggle a lot. Finding a picture of what you want them to look like is huge. It took me weeks. Good luck....It will be great!

Glad your surgery went well. I'm hoping and praying for the same. I won't know how to act having nipples pointing straight ahead instead of down at my shoes. lol! Looking forward to the results!

Surgery went very well. No drains and only minimal bleeding the first day. I'm sore and still having pain but it's manageable.
