Po day 13 everything is feeling better I'm still sleeping in the recliner. I've just switched to Tylenol . I've had pains that can only be described as Braxton hicks contractions. I'm still slightly hunched over and very swollen. I feel like how is this going to smooth out eventually. Before this I at least looked good in clothes, so this is very frustrating. Being stuck in the house makes you wanna eat whatever you want. Although I'm still eating clean with low sodium diet which sucks cause sodium was the only thing I didn't watch before this. I know I'm only 2 weeks po but this is by far the most frustrating thing. I guess no one would be happy with turning into spongebob .

Everything with the pain is fine just swelling and itching along the incision is annoying. I'm glad I stay at home with my kids I can't imagine having to go back to work. Kudos to the girls that do it. How are you?

I hear ya 8 weeks today :). I also have the swelling. I also think I'm gonna need lipo I still am not as flat as I would like to be. I don't think my dr did lipo during the surgery . I go to him April 4, but I do agree it was worth it. I stopped wearing my cg this week . I thought it would be hard to get used to not wearing it but it wasn't :)

Hi...Thank you for sharing your stories! I'm considering a tummy tuck and breast augmentation myself. Just curios, can anyone please share what the cost is and if financing offered? I'm specifically looking at the Jefferson Plastic Surgery on Walnut Street in Philadelphia. Any and all information regarding cost and the surgeons are greatly appreciated! :-)

Day 4 I'm lioving my lift recliner it allows me to get up at my own pace. I'm also still taking my pain meds every 4 hours Percocets and Valium every 8 hours. I had my first BM thanks to colace and prune juice it went well tmi lol. I found sitting on a high bar stool is comfortable so I go from that to the recliner. I hate not being able to bend over . When was everyone able to bend over to pick things up? Also with the bl I'm wrapped in an ace bandage . Do you know when I can move to a sports bra. My first OP is Mionday. Happy healing everyone :) . Morning stiff has a different meaning to me after a TT sorry I couldn't resist :p. speaking of that when did you start hanky panky? Lol

Hey there! Glad u r doing better. Not sure about the sports bra thing. I have been in one since surgery. My cg is a veronique, I think? It zips all the way down on both sides so u dont have to pull it up over ur legs and has an opening for going to the bathroom. It has worked pretty well so far. Cant wait to get this damn drain out tomorrow! Its driving me crazy!

Yes the drain is driving me crazy too! I have 2 of them the are pinching me and blood has been dripping from the drain hole . How much drainage are you having. It's amazing how everything is hard to do I couldn't put back a gallon of milk . My strength is just drained . I get filled quickly but been craving pizza . I'm so damn bored I at least wanna eat lol. I feel like I'm already swollen . How are you feeling ? Do you have to go back to work? I stay at home with my kids I must say they have been so helpful. It helps mommy looking like a monster lol with greasy hair. I can't shower till tomorrow . I feel I could go to Walmart and fit right in ;)

Hi pink111....you asked some questions GW8772's page, so I come here to visit you & answer your questions. First, I'm glad you are doing well. I'm happy to hear your DH is such a big help. Mine was too! Also glad you got a lift recliner, it IS a lifesaver after this surgery!! Especially after you have anything done to your boobs too! ALSO, glad you hear your TMI on your easy BM....mine was horrible!!! I was horribly constipation for 8 freakin days, even after prunes, colace, an herbal stool softner all started less than 24 hours after surgery, then had to have 2 enemas AND a half bottle of MOM...it was horrible!!! I didn't bend over for a couple weeks, bcuz you can't get up after your bent over!! I did a lot of squatting when I needed to get down....thank God for all those squats at the gym my hubby had me do! I did have a bl with a br, I was not in an ace bandage, so I don't know about when you can move to a sports bra. I woke in a post-surgical compression bra, was in that for 48 hours, then was able to move to a sports bra. Hanky panky.....I got the ok from my PS at my 2nd PO appt, about 12 days PO, but only with my binder on. (I still wear it!!!) THANK YOU for the comment about my dress! I love it & can't wait to wear it!! I was not wearing a bra in that pic! I definitely will not be wearing a bra as a NEED, but also don't want my girls to start saggin again! I look forward to be able to walk around my house braless!! I had a reduction too, so I'm also excited to have normal sized boobs! So, to answer your question, I absolutely could go without a bra AND LOOK GOOD DOING IT!!! My doc did send me home with Percocets....1-2 every 4 hours, I only took 2 a couple times in the first 2 days, but I DID NOT MISS ONE DOSE!!! I set the alarm on my phone for 15 mins prior to the time to take them, which gave me time to go to the bathroom & eat a little something first. I also was sent home with antibiotics, a 10-day course. I took the pain meds for about 10 days, then only 1-2 times a week for the next couple weeks, only when I had overdone it. At my 2nd PO visit my doc asked how much pain meds I had left, I didn't have many I he gave me a another prescription without me even having to ask for more! I did not take anything for blood clots, I just walked as much as I could (which wasn't very much for the first few days) every time I got up to pee. If you have any questions, feel free ask.....I'm happy to help!!! I've had LOTS of help from people on here & don't know what I'd have done without this site and all the helpful women. I'd feel privilaged to be able to help anyone! :-)

Hey girl! Finally got the drain removed today. Feels so much better! It had been draining about 30 ml every day. I dont have to go back to work for 3 weeks. I am a hairdresser so I didnt want want to push it since I stand all day with my arms in the air. I feel u on the greasy hair. I could go to walmart right now and ride a motorized cart and would totally look normal! Lol!

Ya about the drains! Mine were removed too . I like everything I see I'm swollen but I expected that . I love my new boobies!!!! Oh the motorized car for sure. But at least we can not wear a bra and it be ok ;) . Just going to the doctors wore me out so I agree take ad much time off work as you can. I stay at home with my four monkeys . Just think this time last we we were a nervous wreck. Today was my best day so far. But I'm still taking the Percocets tho. I'm looking at thighs thinking they could use a little tightening bahaha . My husband is like ummm no :). When do you go back for your second po. I go the 14th also have you found a comfy sports bra that opens in the front. Overall are you happy with your results?
February 6, 2013
Today has been my best day so far too. Im only taking percocets at night when I go to sleep. My next po appt is in two weeks. I bought a sports bra from academy sports, I think the brand is champion, it zips up the front. Very comfy! So far I am pretty happy with my results, but I had my thighs done so now I think I need my arms done! Lol!

So here goes I got there at 8:00 I think they started around 12:00 and I was done by 3:00. I had tt ,mr, and bl. The first 2 days were rough to say the least . Day 3 today has been better. I ordered the lift recliner yesterday and it came today it's a must have! It lifts you to almost a standing position before this came my husband was lifting mei, it was a hot mess! My back a neck a killing me. Any recommendations for a good neck pillow? My DH has been amazing I think seeing me on this much pain had him freaked out. I'm usually very good with pain. But anyway I couldn't be more in love with him then I am today. Hope everyone is healing well . Hopefully I can sleep tonight cause that hasn't been easy.
