Well ladies, only 29 days to go. The countdown begins. I have my pre-op apt on 16th. I have lots of questions and keep a tablet nearby when new questions come to mind. I am confident that Dr Hardy will answer all of them. I am a little nervous AND excited at the same time. I haven't seen a waist in 10 years. I will finally be able to put in a pair of pants without them falling off because mywaist is as big as my hips. Under all this mess is a beautiful body waiting to be seen. I decided not to do my boobs because i would not feel "natural" with implants and he said i wasn't a good candidate for a lift. I would like to get my upper arms done but i will have a save that for another time.

I have been researching this site for many months deciding which doctor to do my body. I narrowed it down to Dr. Fischer or Dr Hardy due to the results they produce. I decided on Dr Hardy in Jacksonville because his work was as good as Dr. Fischer "in my opinion". I met him yesterday and I found him to be quiet in demeanor and unassuming. He had intelligence in his eyes and was really involved in conversation once he got down to business. I also like that he did answer my questions regarding his personal experience with prior patients. I was unable to promote a sense of humor but aside from that he appeared competent. I have the read the neg reviews about him. To that I say, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. All doctors are human, as patients I think we forget that. Be proactive about YOUR surgery, YOUR body. As far as his staff I would say "I don't care if they are nice or not" all I Care about is his hands during surgery and my health after surgery. My major concerns were blood clots and sepsis which we discussed and I will discuss again.
I am a 55yr lady, had 2 children and yo yo d all my life. I have tons of excess skin which I am having removed along with my sides to give me a much needed waist. I also am Getting a butt which was deflated from lip o of my thighs years ago. I am excited about this life change as I know looking good will make me feel better. I will keep all of you posted on my progress.
