Well I finally had my tummy tuck done in August after researching it for about a year. It was the BEST decision I have ever made! I had a full TT with lipo to my hips and flanks. I'm not a small girl, but most of my excess weight was in my gut. My youngest child was 8 months old at the time of surgery so one of my biggest concerns was caring for her during recovery. I was able to have a family member stat with us for 2 weeks since I wasn't able to lift her.
I still have days where I will swell up if I am on my feet all day or eat a high sodium meal, but over all, after 6 weeks, I pretty much feel like myself again. Take a look at how much FAT my doc removed! I am still totally amazed!

Ya, I forgot to post that lol I'm 5'8 and at time of surgery I was 230! Now after removing my "gut" (that alone was 7lbs!) And some lipo on the sides I am 211... Obviously I lost some weight on my own since the surgery. Its been a major boost of motivation since my worst area is now gone :)

Did you have muscle repair. Do you have any issues

I did have MR. My abdomen is still pretty numb, and the recovery was very painful but there aren't any unexpected issues yet. My lower abdominal muscles were a mess according to the Dr. I did have 3 c sections though. I'm muscles are definitely still tender but I was able to hold my daughter (who was 20lbs) at about 3 weeks PO

I'm about 8 weeks and I have no more muscle tenderness at all. I feel great and I never had any issues with mine. I'm sorry yours is so painful still!
