After a great consult with Dr. Weiss, I've decided to schedule my procedure with him. It's for 4/20/17 and I'm more excited than ever. I didn't wan to go overboard, I just want to contour my problem areas. I'm using this procedure to kick off (and stick with) a strength training regime. Wish me luck!

Good luck! Please let me know how it went. I am supposed to do my underarm area soon and am debating on doing my back and flanks as well. :)

2 MORE DAYS!! Yesterday, i had my pre-op appointment. Honestly, the booklet that Dr. Weiss's office sent out about my surgery was so detailed that I didn't have any questions. We went over the day of surgery, anesthesia, leaving the facility/scheduling follow-up appointments and post-op at home care. I'm still surprised that I'm not nervous about the procedure since I've never went under general anesthesia before. My comfortableness with Dr. Weiss and his staff is the reason. They're extremely transparent; no question or concern was unanswered.

General anesthesia for tumescent liposuction? Are you sure they're not doing local?

Yes ma'am, general anesthesia. I was out the entire time and woke up in recovery

I recommend Dr. Weiss to everyone in the Jacksonville and surrounding areas!! ..... On another note... the recovery is not a joke! Lol well the pain wasn't half as bad as I expected but it was hard to sleep comfortably in the compression garment. I never sleep on my back so I could barely sleep the last few nights. The pain from the upper/lower abs is not too bad and I don't have much pain in my flanks anymore. Overall, I'm happy I went through with the procedure and I'm ready for the swelling to go down. I'll post more pics as I go along.
