Scar update 10 years later
It’s hard to believe that it will be 10 years this April since I’ve had this procedure. I’ve had several people ask for a scar update. I have to I preface this by saying I do scar badly, and I always have. My scar is still far more beautiful than the stomach I had before. I would absolutely trade my old stomach for this scar any day. I have found that I still retain abdominal firmness with minimal abdominal workouts. I will be 42 I’m a few weeks.
9 year update
It’s been nine years since my surgery and I’m still thankful that I did it. I’ve had some weight increase through the years. Over the last three months I’m getting back in shape and down ten lbs. Don’t take the surgery for granted and eat whatever you want.
8 year update
Still the best thing that I have ever done. As I’ve aged I have aimed some weight but overall I do not seem to gain in the middle. My tummy is still firm.
