Tomorrow is 8 weeks since i've had miradry. I would say that my sweating is reduced by about 90-95% (my left armpit might even be more). I don't know if I'll be having another treatment. At the same time I want to so I can try to reduce even more, I feel that before the treatment I would've only dreamed of having my sweat reduced as much as it is now. My only regret is that I didn't have Miradry done earlier. I have not had one single drop of sweat drip down my arm and I am only wet when I run or am outside for a while (Its summer in SC, so high 80's to 90's). When I am cold, I am completely dry. I know 1500-2000 is a lot of money to shell out for a procedure but if you're contemplating getting it, go for it. It's really worth the shot and if you get results like me, you'll be so happy!

I'm still in shock of how amazing Miradry is. Im also still a little worried the sweat will come back. At 4 weeks and a few days I am still about 90-95% dry in my right armpit and about 95-97% dry in my left (it never sweat as much). I sweat when I exercise (normal damp wetness). When i'm cold or a normal temp, I don't sweat, at all. When I'm hot, I get sticky or damp. I have not had one single drop of sweat drip down my arm since the morning right before my procedure. I wear deodorant but probably don't even need to.
As far as how my armpits feel, they're not back to 100% yet. They feel like the in-between of when something is numb and coming back to feeling. Not sore, just strange. They look completely normal though. Every once in a while I feel the stretching "band" they're talking about but I am not restricted in movement or anything.
At this point if I stay the way I am, I don't know if i'll even get a second procedure.
All in all, Miradry has been amazing in my case and I hope it stays this way. Serious life changer!!!!

Hi thanks for your detailed review! I have been considering miradry for a long time now but I'm really quite put off by the lidocaine injections, made worst by the videos I have seen on YouTube. My understanding is that they give local anaesthesia shots prior to injecting the lidocaine (making the underarm area inflated)? Do u feel any pain while the lidocaine is being injected? Because from the videos I have seen, it looks like there is a lot of tugging a few pulling in and out of the needle while the lidocaine is being injected. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

I'll chime in as I've had a few miradry treatments. :) the lidocaine is given to freeze your underarm so u don't feel pain. There's about 2 lidocaine shots in each underarm (just enough to impede the nerve pain receptors). That's the only mild discomfort during the procedure. After 5 mins after the freezing has kicked in. Then yes they give u multiple injections of saline all over your underarm to "puff it up". This is so the miradry machine can destroy the sweat glands without any of the energy being able to hit the nerve and cause nerve damage. Think of the saline as a way to increase the distance between the microwave / heat energy and the nerve. It's a good thing. :)

And youre frozen when they do the multiple saline injections. You don't feel them. :)
