I consulted with Dr James Hardy and he suggested a mini tummy tuck. He assured both both me and my fiance that I would be very pleased with the results.
After a several months of recovery, I noticed that I had numerous unattractive lumps in my abdomen. I started a lengthy work out program with hopes that the lumps would go away. They did not.
In June of 2015, I met with Dr Hardy to discuss my results looking for a solution. He looked at his work and said the lumps would not go away on their own. He said "I should have had a full tummy tuck, because of my age." I was 50 when I had the surgery. I literally broke down and cried in Dr Hardy's office.
As a professional plastic surgeon, Dr Hardy should have advised a full tummy tuck was the right procedure for my age. . Dr Hardy offered to do the abdominoplasty full - Body Contouring at half his regular rate of $6800.00 See attached proposal.
Today I am permanently disfigured. This has affected my self esteem, my confidence and now I have daily anxiety when I see myself in the mirror. I live on the beach and am ashamed to show my stomach.
In conclusion, I relied on Dr Hardy as an expert in his field. Knowing my age, he should have advised me that a full tummy tuck was needed prior to surgery as opposed to after.
