Sorry, I see it's Feb. I didn't have much pain at all . I took the pain pills as ordered for the 1st 2 days only. Then on day 3 started taking Tylenol after taking a dose of pain pill then taking Tylenol the next time or two. Much less pain then I thought it would be. I slept in a recliner for a week , then went back to our bed, learning to sleep on my back was the hardest part of the whole recovery!! Keep in touch with me & I'll pass along any tips I can that helped me

Yes. I just have to go back again in Feb for a 6 month check up. Do you live here in the area? We moved here about 2 years ago, I feel so lucky, my daughter recommended Dr Hickman
. She knew of her through professional circumstances .

Going Braless & feeling Great
Neenax2October 28, 2016
I had a MRI & had to remove my bra for it, 1st time EVER I felt good going BRALESS! I put my top back on & my girls stayed right where they were suppose to! No flopping all over the place, I didn't even have to hold them down !!! They stayed upright & perky ,That's NEVER happened before my surgery. Such a GREAT feeling NOT to have your breast swinging all over the place & trying to hide & hold them down. I just had to share ??

I know the feeling. I did sleep braless for years, but since I had my surgery 11 1/2 weeks ago, I've worn them almost 24/7 until a coupe of weeks ago. I had approval to not wear them at night again. Just like before, I get an ahhh feeling when removing them for bed. What I like about mine is when I look in the mirror at them, they "look back" at me, instead of down and in different directions. I see other big-chested women walking in the all, bouncing along, and thing did I look like that? Ha, ha...I'm sure I did, but not any more. :)

I just reread this post and realized that I was walking in the MALL, not the "all" lol.

That's funny. I know I hit the send button too fast , while I'm reading & here it's too late it's done.
November 13, 2016
Yes, I do that too. I usually read over my post and correct any typing mistakes, but I either didn't reread that one or I missed it, lol. HOw are you feeling by Nnow?

I feel great. I had my 3 month check up. Everything is great breast wise. But recently I had shingles on my upper back & I still have some nerve pain. How about you?
November 13, 2016
Oh, no, I'm sorry to hear that. My father-I-law had shingles and was often in pain as a result. I hope you're feeling better by now.
I'm doing well. I haven't really had a 3 month checkup for my breasts because of my TT almost 3 weeks ago - same PS, so he's concentrating on my healing from that, as am I. I am healing very well from my TT. I've been walking upright for about two weeks, sleeping in my bed for close to a week; not walking a lot yet but I can start on Tuesday. I went out shopping on my own both yesterday and today, bought a pair of jeans 3 sizes smaller than I wore pre-surgery. I was thrilled! My breasts are settling in somewhat. They're still a little swollen, I don't have sensation in my right nipple yet (never really lost it in the left) but the PS says it could take up to a year to return.
Overall, with the two surgeries, I am SO glad I made the decision to have them done. I feel so much better; I'm looking better and will continue to improve. The problems which led to my decision to have each surgery are non-existent :).

Wow. I can't imagine the recovery from the TT. I forgot the timeframe of when that surgery was . Glad to hear it went well & you have done so well. 3 jean sizes smaller is FANTASTIC! So happy for you & the Congrats on the hard work of losing the weight!
November 14, 2016
Thanks! I was happy with a pair that was two sizes smaller, but the waist was just a little big, so before I bought them I decided to go down another size. Boy, am I glad that I did!

I am really happy for you! Congratulations and enjoy every minute of your new look!

Looking great! Scarring is minimal! So happy for you. I took some new photos but haven't had a chance to. Hopefully tonight!!!!

Thanks. I'm using the non underwire bras as sleep bras. Dr Hickman advises to wear a bra for sleeping, NEVER go BRALESS! She said small breast can also be SMALL DROPPY BREAST! Don't want that. After all these years, I guess I just feel better in an UNDERWIRE BRA! I've always worn one & alwAys been comfortable in it!

Nice...I'm in a 38C right now. I've bought a number of new bras in that size. I just hope they continue to fit or maybe become too big, lol. If that were to happen, I'd donate them and buy new ones in my new "correct" size. I still have a bunch of sports bras that I wear, mixed in between my "regular" bras because I like the support they give me. I guess eventually I'll use them when exercising.

It came out great I actually have a consult with dr Hickman nov 7th. I'm glad someone posted recently for her.

I think you will be impressed with her knowledge & honesty . She is s very warm & caring person.

I had no idea she would say to never go braless, regarding sleep. The best part of my day right now is taking that thing off.

I bought a Hanes front hook closures bra at WalMart for $7. I can slip it on & off over your head, no cups, very comfy. U don't even know U have it on!! I know I thought the same thing . But as she said. Little boobs can sag also. I know on this site a lot of gals talk about going braless, I feel like I can at this point, but I don't won't sagging boobs in 10-15 years! Don't want to risk it!! It's so much different to, I had 5 1/2 lbs removed! That's a lot less weight off to carry around all day
I find the more I read on here, the more questions I have. It is nice to find someone who used Dr. Hickman recently. Thank you for responding. There are things I never thought to ask her. I get nauseous from anesthesia and Jess said there is a pill that works better than a patch, but it is 90. Called amenz.
Thanks for the tip on the bra. They are probably expensive anyway. Are you completely healed now?
