I am a 36 year old female with very large breast. I wasn't always like this after I had my boys, my breast became extremely big. Right now I am currently a 40H. Like Hello. And because of it my back gives me a lot of problems and my shoulders too. I decided to go to my Dr to see if I could get a reduction. And because of her recommendation, and the approval of the insurance company. I was able to get one. My surgery is scheduled for this month on the 15th of October and I can't wait. My BreastReduction Surgery Is The Same Day but i want be going home the same day i will be staying over night which i think is good for me..

I just had mine done Friday and I was supposed to go home bit bc of the pain I stayed overnight. I honestly don't see how ppl go home the same day. I am still in a lot of pain. Good luck!!

My surgery was at 7am and lasted 4 hours. It was around 1130am or so when i started waking up and I was home before 3pm! Mine was a pretty large reduction (almost 5 pounds worth removed). I'm betting that it also depends on the technique used as well. I had the SPAIR technique, but even then, since I was such a big reduction, I still had probably close to 24" worth of incisions if you put them all together. It's amazing how every surgeon and every recovery are so much different!

Good luck with your surgery! I think you will be so happy and feel so much better afterwards. I am still collecting information and trying to decide on a surgeon, hopefully I will be in the game by early November.
