So, tomorrow will make officially 28 days post op and I'm loving my new breast. I'm still healing and I still swell occasionally/muscles still pull when I'm up and moving around but it's much better than the constant back pains. I went bra shopping and was amazed at the tiny bras that I can now fit into (and cute lingerie too)! My friends and family notices the difference and everyone loves the new look. I'm extremely satisfied with the decision to have a breast reduction!

6 Days Post Op

So, days 2-3 were hell for me! I somehow managed to get a terrible headache and the pain was unbearable! The pain meds (Percocet) did nothing for my headache or pain so I've completed stopped taking it. It literally only made me drowsy and sleep (but I could still feel the pain during my sleep). Day 4, after not taking Percocet at all on day 3, I took a tension headache OTC pill and have been feeling so much better since! I can move more, the pain is very manageable and I'm more mobile. Unfortunately at my 1st post-op appointment I wasn't able to remove my strips so I'm guessing my healing ain't that great. On day 4 I started leaking under my right breast some yellowy fluid. The nurse said it was normal so I didn't panic. However, today under both of my boobs, I noticed leaking and possibly blood. Just hope I didn't ruin anything. But as of now, I'm just updating with 6 day post op pics. I'm happy with how they look so far!

I have my surgery tomorrow morning at 9:45 I'm so excited but so nervous. I'm supposed to go to work on Friday do you think that's impossible considering how you felt? You look amazing by the way!!!!

Today was my first day out on my own and it was difficult! I think going to work is possible but not recommend. You will be very uncomfortable and it's going to take some getting used to. Good luck tomorrow!

I made it!! Surgery went well. Im so anxious to see it. I also got my armpit fat removed so I think that’s where most of my pain is coming from. Did they recommend you walking? And have you laid on your side at all?
February 22, 2018
I have not layed on my side at all and I was recommended to walk every 1-2 hours. Get as much rest as you can and keep me updated on your status! I'm so excited for you!

So, yesterday was my big day!!! I went in at 11, filled out paperwork and went under around 12 and was back up at 5:30 P.M. I can't see anything yet because I'm so bandaged up but I feel so much smaller. My pain is tolerable but it's most certainly present. I'm attaching before pics so you guys can see where I started from. I'll update with after at my follow up appointment Monday. So far so good.

I am 3 weeks out. I went from spilling out of a 40 H, because I couldn’t get a bigger size in my city, to what is now a large C. It feels strange to look down and see my feet! Oh, my nipples are pointing to the sky, lol, but when my abdominal swelling goes down, they should drop to normal...my nipple have been looking at the floor for decades...I am 60, and feel like a girl...I think this summer is going to be awesome...sundresses with no bras...I can’t wait!

I'm excited to get to that point as well! I've been picking out new bathing suits and dresses. How long will this pinching pain last? I hate moving because it feels like I'm doing something wrong!
