41, 3 Kids, Not Getting Any Younger. Jacksonville, FL

Went for my first post op check up on day 7. Stitches clipped so they can work their way out. Not painful at all. Doc said to start going without a bra 24-7. It was a little uncomfortable by the end of the day. Felt some back pain and tender nipples. Starting to feel the nerves coming back to life. Like sharp pains all around both breasts and especially in both nipples. Painful but certainly not unbearable. Taking ibuprofen to help with the back pain at the end of the day. At the end of day 9 has what felt like tugging of the skin in my cleavage. Couple of times felt so strong like the skin was going to rip away from my chest bone. But took one of my lortab and fell asleep. Woke up without that feeling. Must admit going without a bra is a little awkward feeling, but hubby said its not obvious or anything. Doc said after two week check up I should be able to start exercising and dancing again...can't wait for that!

Feeling great still. Little tenderness at the end of pain med cycles. Switched to ibuprofen last night when I started itching from the lortab. Doc told me today I could take some Benadryl for the itching. So I'm just alternating what I take. Took a shower without any problems. Felt good to be out if the bra for a bit. But doc said I should wear it for a week since we went so big. 500cc for both.

Everything went great. So smooth and fast. Ride home was a little touchy, but hubby drove extra careful once he saw how the bumps were uncomfortable. Again, Dr. Weiss and all of the staff were excellent. Doc said he was thrilled with results and knows I will be too! Can't wait to take a peek, but tired now so I'm going to go back to sleep.
