Doing great! I haven't had to take anything for pain in several days. I'm so ready to wear regular bras again so I can wear cute shirts! I do feel like my boobs are less pancake-like but the stretch marks are pretty bad!

Where did you go to get yours removed? I am ready to have mine explanted. I've had them for many years and now am tired of trying to find clothes to fit me. I always seem to look a little overweight because of them. I am a runner and am training for a marathon. Is there much down-time to this procedure? Thank you for sharing your story.

Could you tell me which Dr in Jackson, Ms you chose for your breast implant removal? I must have my implants removed soon also, but have been discouraged by both Drs I have seen to not remove my implants only, but to put new ones in. I need a Dr who is willing to do explantation. Please advise? Thank you :-)

Not much as changed. I was in a wedding yesterday and felt much better about myself without those giant bowling balls on my chest. Every now and then I get achey but ibuprofen helps. I hope my skin shrinks soon.

Hi there! Wasn't it nice feeling good about yourself at the wedding?! I'm 4 days post op and nothing much has changed here either as far as breast appearance goes, in fact, they seem a bit more deflated, maybe some swelling that went down, but I still feel so much more confident with my small deflated boobs than I ever did with my bowling balls! I actually was out on the boat today (with hubby only) and wore a bikini for the first time this summer! It has a wide band so it wasn't bad on the incisions and I used the padding from my pre-implant bras to push and hold up the girls in my bikini top. I felt like my old self, it was wonderful! I did a little research and decided to give the bust firming cream I bought a try figuring it can't hurt and it makes me feel a little better being proactive in my heeling. I still get achey as well but overall, I'm surprised and super grateful that I'm doing as well as I am. I certainly didn't think I'd be up to going boating 4 days after implant removal! I am determined to stay positive about my healing, regardless of what my boobs look like. They may not "look" as good, but they certainly "feel" way better! Keep your chin up :)

Oh, I love & appreciate your words... I have been "telling" myself, I know I won't look as good. HOWEVER, I know I will feel much better & so will my breast.. Also, I had thought about the swelling & how they may look even more flat as the days pass. What a blessing you are as I go into my final week WITH implants for 35 years... Will be a shock, I know! Thank you!

I had surgery yesterday and I went back to work today! I must be crazy... But it wasn't so bad. I wasn't able to reach high or lift much weight, but other than that everything was fine! I'm a nurse so I'm constantly busy at work, but I got through it!

My main hasn't been bad at all. I took Tylenol early this morning and ibuprofen around lunch time. I didn't take anything after that.

My boobs look scary droopy. I hope they start perking up soon. Especially because I'm in a wedding this weekend. :-/
