I’m still over the moon excited about my results. I feel so comfortable in my own skin. I love my body for the first time ever! Anyone contemplating this surgery needs to do thorough research, meet several doctors, write your questions out, lose weight prior if needed because this is not a weight loss surgery, and save up your money.

It's almost been four months since my tummy tuck and I'm thrilled with the results. I feel absolutely beautiful and the difference is amazing. I can wear clothes comfortably now and I don't have to fidget and fight with things. I can actually buy the correct size!! This was the best decision ever.

I'm feeling great! Very little to hardly any pain except when I've done too much then it's just an achy feeling along with swelling ???? Both of my drains are gone...thank goodness! The bad news is I still have so much fluid on one side that I have to go to the doctor next week to have the fluid manually drained ???? NOT looking forward to that! It looks beautiful and I couldn't be happier. I do hope the numbness goes away bc it is an awkward feeling when I try to wear jeans. I can't last longer than 30 mins before I'm dying to change into yoga pants, which isn't like me at all.

Glad to read your story. I am in the same boat. Been wanting this for years and now having anxiety because it is only 2 months away. now that you are 5 months out, how do you feel? Did you use anything special for the scar?

I feel fantastic! Best decision ever! I love my tummy tuck and I feel so awesome about myself now, there is a new found confidence. I'm actually going through scar therapy through my plastic surgeon. I have to wear special strips over the incision site for several weeks and then go back to see him again. From that point he will decide if I need an injection to lighten and smooth the scar out some more or just continue the strips. The strips (biodermis c-strips) are amazing and have already lightened and smoothed out my scar tremendously. They are reuseable and all you have to do is hand wash them, let them dry, and reapply. So you really get your money's worth. Good luck on your tummy tuck! You're going to love the results! FYI. DO NOT step on a scale for SEVERAL weeks post op.

It's nice to know that you are happy with the results. Sounds like you have a great doctor. I will look for the c-strips. Thank you for the advice.
