3 weeks Post Op

Tomorrow 6-8-16 will be three weeks post op and I'm feeling great! At my 2 week checkup I was taught how to massage and I scheduled my six week checkup which is at the end of this month and I got my stitches out. New over the last couple days has been some nerve pain. It has subsided over the last day but it was mainly in my left side. Lefty causes me issues, I call her my party tit! Inside joke:). I am massaging twice a day, push up, down, left and right and I do still use my arnica gel in the morning and at night. I have been cleared to do low intensity cardio but haven't yet. I still want to take it easy, just personal preference. When j was getting the burning nerve pain I took an Advil once or twice a day for a couple days but it wasn't anything I couldn't tolerate! Looking forward to being cleared at six weeks to start lifting weights again!

5 Days Post Op

Five days in the other side and I am feeling great! No pain meds and I will be done with my antibiotics today. I had a checkup yesterday and everything looks great. Stitches out next Thursday! I still have another week off of work and I will be taking advantage of that time!

12 hours post surgery

So happy it's over and I'm on my way to recovery! I was asked to arrive at 7 we did the normal preop stuff; blood pressure, temp, pee in a cup:) anesthesia came in and then the doc cam in. He took some before pictures and marked me up. Just before 8 I walked to the surgery room and got started! I was hooked up to an IV and then remember waking up in the recovery room in the chair. I was literally in the road back home around 10:15am. I was debating making the hr drive home but didn't feel to bad after surgery so I took a norco and we came home. I have been trying to stay ahead of the pain today and it honestly hasn't been that bad. I am wrapped in an ace bandage and it's super tight so I feel like most of the discomfort is from that. I go back tomorrow at 9 am for a quick checkup then I will be resting the rest of the weekend. I honestly don't feel horrible just sore like I worked my chest really hard at the gym yesterday.

I didn't get any sort of naeusea at all which was my #1 fear. I did not want to puke after surgery, just thinking about that had me worried. I had a surgery when I was in high school (appendixes) and got sick after, that has stuck with me!

I ended up with 500cc implants filled to 540cc on the right and 520cc in the left (lefty is slightly larger). I will get to see the girls tomorrow and will post before/afters!
